Hello ali cats! Here's a little audio test because I was curious lol. I tried to do this once before when I lived with my mom, but all the traffic made it hard to do anything experimental there tbh 💀 Now that I'm on my own again I thought I could try out the Tascam once again to see how it sounded for some ASMR triggers! :)

Off the bat I know I need to be careful with how I talk and breath if I ever use this- particularly my Ps and Bs lol xD I'm not sure if the heartbeat picked up. I thought I heard it during recording, but I don't think that was successful lol. Either way, this was just for fun so let me know what you liked/didn't like! :D

✨ Edit: I just want to clarify that this was just for fun! My 3Dio is still perfectly fine and I’ll continue to use that for my roleplays. I just thought it would be fun to see how this sounded for experimental purposes :P

Well the ear cleaning fluffy and bubble sounds were nice the drinking sounds were a bit quiet don’t think it picked up the heart beats but overall not bad. And as always I’m happy to be the guinea pig for your asmr experiments have a great day.

Hey their ali sry i dont post much been to busy chugging nos and working on cars/trucks to do anything but wake up eat work listen and sleep. Not even kidding last two days i listened to the same damn audio from being lazy fatass. Anyways. Ill just come out and say whenever you post in the description that you apologize for the sounds of cars passing by i rarely ever hear them. Wether you edit them out or they just dont get picked up on the mics i just dont here them. And i know you love asmr and dont get me wrong i do to helps me alot but i think your holding yourself to a bit to high of a standard. Not saying you shouldn't have a standard at all just saying that you push yourself to far you'll get burnt out faster than a 6.4 powerstroke blows a gasket. Now thats just me and you keep doing what your doing im just trying to be nice and helpful i suppose. One thing id recommend though is getting some sound deading tiles off Amazon you can get a set of 10 to 20 for like 45-65$ and they really help. Id recommend the hard foam ones and not the soft one. No matter how much the price looks good on them the soft foam ones fall off really easy and are kinda hard to work with. Also dont use spray glue. It doesnt stick good at all. I recommend hot glue by putting glue on the wall then putting the tile on. Atleast thats what i did either way the spray glue still pulls off my wall paint and paper. So if ima do it might as well go all out right. Anyways have a good day/night though.

I really like tascam ASMR. The drinking sounds were a little weak and I couldnt hear the heartbeat sounds. I definitely enjoyed the other sounds though. I like that you post these and ask for feed back, I think it shows how much you care both about your work and your followers/patrons.

Tascam's are pretty interesting. I rarely ever hear or know of some people who use them, given that the 3DIO is the best for most asmr uses (mainly for some good triggers, *cough cough* ear licking).

I think it sounds pretty good. The drinking was weak, but the Heartbeats were clear and very nice to listen to with my Sony Headphones. Overall the Tascam sounds like a good Backup to me. I'm a bit biased,You could use an old 90's PC Microphone (the ones that everybody had😁) and I would probalby love to listen to you Ali. I've done the best I could!🤷🏼‍♂️😉🫶🏻

I'm not a big fan of the Q-Tips, but otherwise it was very nice =w=

The Tascam is definitely sensitive to vocal noise and sounds nice for soft whispers based asmr. I did notice with the Q-Tip that it sounded more scratchy compared to say a 3-Dio or other mics with ear-type receivers. For the heartbeat, I think I noticed a bit of thumping when you attempted it, but was a bit on the quiet side. Perhaps this is a mic that might need add-ons to improve on noises requiring contact proximity triggers, but triggers where the proximity is just close to them can work perfectly fine (just bare in mind the sensitivity).
