On the topic of VTubers, I have a bit of a crazy story. Small decisions can have massive consequences. I believe I was browsing YouTube in November last year when I suddenly got a stream recommendation from a small VTuber. I watched it and stayed around for a few days before joining their Discord. I had a lot of free time at that point, so I quickly became a regular on the server. The thing is, one of the main things I posted about was a game she didn't play. She announced that she wanted to try checking it out, so I decided to set up a stream idea for her. As it turns out, that stream would go on to be her most-viewed stream of all time. Not just stream, actually, her most viewed THING ever. Her popularity grew pretty quickly after that. Due to this growth, she opened up applications for channel moderators, and the existing mods reached out to me specifically asking me to apply. It's May now, and I've managed to become one of her most active and reliable mods. It's crazy how many small decisions led to this point, for me and her. I don't think you'd be able to find her channel just by searching her up, but her name is Hayami. The stream I set up for her was about Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle.

Nice to hear that your Raora fanart got retweeted by her! I haven't really seen much of her content, but from what I can tell, you really nailed her style - fits her vibe super well. :3 When you brought up cooking in Oblivion, I realized I've… never really thought about that. Even in Skyrim, if I saw cheese wheels, I'd just chow them down the way they were. xD But I agree - a cooking system similar to alchemy (or even something simple like in Genshin) would be a cool addition, if it isn't already. I think there was a survival mod for Skyrim that made eating more meaningful, so maybe something like that will pop up for Oblivion eventually, too? Honestly, I've always loved crafting-heavy games like the Atelier series, so adding a more in-depth system (even modded in) would definitely be quite nice. Oh, and since you mentioned vampires - at least for Skyrim: Vampires or Werewolves? But let's be real, Serana carries the vampires hard. xD Also, I think a YouTube channel membership sounds like a great idea! Personally, I just like having another way to support - but the idea of a badge and some custom emotes also sound super fun. :3 As for exclusive content - not sure how you feel about it, but since you've been thinking about maybe streaming in the future, member-only card pack openings or casual ramble/doodle streams could be a nice way to test the waters. Could be cozy and low-pressure while still adding something special. Just spitballing, of course. ^^

I’ve been enjoying oblivion a ton as-well literally haven’t played any other games since i got it but I’m pretty excited for doom the dark ages today. there are certain things I miss from Skyrim like dual welding but I agree generally I think it’s better but it is missing some of the more mundane features like smithing cooking and and general crafting aren’t really a thing probably just because it’s older and they didn’t want change it much from thee original outside of just polishing it some of them though sorta exist in the form of npc’s you can give items and they can do it. Would definitely recommend the dark brotherhood and probably the theives guild aswell. Well I’ve not really interacted with channel memberships on yt but if you make new content there I’d definitely join. I think the reason we get worried about your health is just because of how impressive it is you can make this much high quality content it’s genuinely incredible as some one who used to upload on yt on somewhat regular basis even with how minor thee editing was for my channel since it was mostly just video game clips compiling and slicing them all together adding a few memes here and there it still takes alot of time and the fact you can make such long content so regularly just blows my mind cause sitting down and editing can be tedious to say the least even if it’s just for a 5 minute video but for an hour+ audio that just seems like it would take forever and you just cranking them out every week and i really appreciate it myself you have completely cured my insomnia I can actually sleep at somewhat regular hours again. Ive got some good news im probably gonna get a new job soon with the same company im with now but the pay will be much better the hours will be mode consistent and fit my schedule better so i hope thee interview goes well. Ive definitely made some poor financial decisions myself nothing to serious atleast nothing thats been hugely weighing on me but man i feel that living really is just getting crazy expensive feels like every time i go to the store something cost more then it did last time like these sandwich’s I like to grab for a quick healthy lunch were like 325 a year ago and now they are at 450. Listened to this while doing my walk around the building today :P it was so muggy... blah, that was also a few hours ago, so I may miss addressing a few things But you're gonna become a big time fanart maker of vtubers now Ali!! :P congrats again! I'm being followed by THE John Cena :P no seriously, his official account followed me a while back lol As for Oblivion,I mean.. why limit yourself to just one?? :P but yea, I'd definitely recommend the Thieve's Guild and the Dark Brotherhood, be the sneaky thiefy assassin you were meant to be! Btw, 2 of the DLC homes would be perfect for you, ones a pirate base, the other is a dark vampire themed lair. Speaking of the vampires, oh man, ran into plenty of them already, now I made sure to get a cure disease spell while I hunt for a ring of vitality, as for the caked up flame atronachs lol, you tend to find them i think once you get up to level 10, in the Oblivion gates As for the channel memberships, the drawing and yapping videos don't sound, maybe add member streams of that if you feel up to it as well? And as for the concerns, I know the newer viewers and members haven't been around long enough, but I know the older ones (myself included) know you take breaks if you need to, and i hope you continue doing that, and continue to know that we'll still be here when you get back! ^_^ And the food situation..omg.. I recently discovered this little mom and pop Brazilian patisserie/restaurant (not far from the French patisserie I told you about) and the food was so good!! A Brazilian asmr vtuber who's discord I'm active in demanded I send her the menu and 30 seconds later I got a list of things to try, I was stuffed yesterday... I need to go back... lol

Thanks for the ramble~! :3 Raora momma is an extremely comfy Vtuber, and from an artist perspective it makes total sense. I think we all have our 'white noise' creators who live on the auxiliary monitors while we're doing something else~ My top contenders would be Mio, Ina, and Fauna (Nimi now, I suppose) and of course-- You! xD Having Momma retweet your post is awesome, though. That made me so happy for you. And, aaawwwh, yeeeee! Welcome to the realization train; "Wait, Oblivion is better than Skyrim?" "..Always has been." All jokes aside, Skyrim is... Fine. But I've always felt this way. Skyrim might have been 'larger' but it never felt as... Driven? The internal plotlines, the sidestories, the depth of the world, even the main objectives just never pulled me as much as Oblivion did. Then, to be honest, over time Skyrim lost favour with me because I simply grew so damn tired of constantly seeing it re-released, overblown, and strung out. It got to the point where anytime I even heard the game mentioned I had to fight hard not to roll my eyes. >.< As for cooking, yes and no? Haha~ As you guessed, it's 'technically' included in the Alchemy functions. But some of the items you can make via the alchemy crafting are like sandwiches and salads. Sooo.. Kind of? Lol. Hmm.. As for youtube memberships, I think your stance on it is extremely earnest and admirable of you. It really speaks to your quality both as a creator and a person to hear you express your thoughts on the matter in that way, and I totally get it. I would say though, it doesn't necessarily have to be 'different' perhaps, so long as it's just something 'extra', persay. On top of that, I think a large majority of the Alicats are more interested in being a part of your community and supporting you than anything else. x3 What I mean to get at though is-- even if it's not really 'different' content-- If you have long-term plans to really stick through with doubling up on your audio releases on youtube, maybe you could do it in a way where there was a public piece and a membership piece. I can't imagine anyone would be put out by that. On another note, in terms of quirks and perks, if you ever decided to put up an Alicat discord, I'm certain people would go feral. Lmfao. Whiiich, in a lotta ways, is perhaps a good reason NOT to do it hahahaha! Of course, you know what you want to do best! Don't stress about it. Whatever works for you is what matters... And you'd better be taking care of yourself! I'll probably still continue to express concern here and there, but don't feel like I'm worrying too much. As a big brother and NCO (Read: Professional Babysitter) It's just a part of what I do for people who matter~ :3 That said, Ali, Alicats; Be good and be safe. Eat right, drink water, and train! Thank you for the birthday wishes Ali. And I kinda did get myself something. I ordered myself some cards haha I had a spot for some of them saved in the binder so I figured I might as well treat myself. I enjoy listening to vtuber or streams in general while doing something else too. It's nice. I definitely get what you mean about listening to someone do an art stream, it's pretty relaxing and it can be pretty engaging. I love Oblivion, but don't like it more than Skyrim. As janky as Skyrim is(they're both pretty janky lol), it has a ton of quality of life improvements and just a better overall sandbox. You spend a lot of time in dungeons in both games, and personally, I think Oblivion's dungeons can be pretty awful at times. Oblivion's magic system is definitely better. I don't think that Skyrim's magic is bad, but it is a lot simpler. I don't know if I would say the game more fluid but holy hell is it more fluid than the original. The original was incredibly stiff and you couldn't even sprint lol As for what you should do, idk man I'm Level 19 and I haven't done anything :P 0 guilds and only a couple story missions. I'm just wandering around. Even though I prefer Skyrim, the best praise I can give Oblivion is that the Guilds and their story lines are for the most part much better. The only one that might be better in Skyrim is the Thieves Guild, but the one in Oblivion has this one quest that is really fucking cool and memorable. Maybe do some exploring, join a couple guilds, and then just do everything for the power fantasy after you've leveled up. As for YouTube channel memberships... Hmmm. I would say don't do it, at least not yet. I'm glad you're putting some thought into what you would offer there, you don't want the same stuff as the Patreon on there because some people might feel burned. I'm a big fan and I think you're super cool, so I would double dip on the support even if the content is the same. I thought about this a bit after I listened. My approach to maximizing value without affecting the Patreon would be to do streams every now and then. For example, if you did an ASMR live stream on the channel, but then the following day did a members only stream that's more casual where you're just chatting while drawing the art for an upcoming YouTube video or you're just playing a game. This way supporters on youtube get something different, the Patreon is unaffected, AliCats have more incentive to double dip, and people who aren't members or patrons have some sort incentive and choice on where to support based on the content they want.

Wait I’m happy for you, on the Raora art retweet! And on all the others, too; I’m not surprised you got noticed, you got a very distinctive, well-developed, cute drawing style. I remember seeing the rough draft a while back and liked it then, and after checking I like how the colors turned out, too! I don’t have a Twitter account so I miss posts on the regular >_< but when you mentioned it directly like that I had to go check <.< Totally get what you’re saying on watching streams that don’t have to keep your full attention the whole time; even more than the bit about keeping attention held, I like when I can multitask so I don’t feel like I’m endlessly unproductive while watching something that doesn’t have a set end time. —————— Haven’t played any Elder Scrolls games before—not even Skyrim—but I’ve heard good things about the Oblivion remake and I’m glad you’re having fun! Idk about any plot reasons or anything, to me like the Brotherhood is the way to go, it just sounds like the aesthetics match up perfectly. —————————— Re: Youtube memberships, I can totally see all the stuff you’re saying, having exclusive content is what would make it worth the paywall. Any of the things you talked about would be worth it for me, although if you’re hoping to start streaming this year, the drawing/chatting content might overlap with Membership content. In any case, no need to worry about losing Patreon as your place. The rest of the content will be quality for its own reasons but this is where the cool Ali Cats come for cool Ali Chats :P
