Hello Ali cats, I hope everyone’s weekend is going well! :3 Here’s the full art of our octopus girl. Can you tell I love drawing tentacles? XD

I spent some time the past few days rearranging my “Ali cat box” 🐱 I’ll be showing some pictures soon once it’s done, but so far I’ve been having a lot of fun getting out trading cards I plan to use and send for the upcoming tier. So far I’ll be using Pokemon, Yu-GI-Oh!, Magic, Weiss Schwarz, Force of Will, and One Piece cards ✨

I know I already mentioned it but the vision is to have a postcard, note, small doodle and around 5 trading cards inside :3

My song recommendation this week is another nostalgic one for me; this time from an anime! 🌺 As usual feel free to post song recs of your own :)

That is one small ass bikini, she barely hide anything 😂 Would though love to see characters in a swimsuit instead, and not the far to common now a days school swimsuit, but normal ones 😅 Having characters look sexy or cute in those feel more unique in my opinion atleast.

Octopus girl looks very pretty the hair color looks nice with the purple tentacles. I hope once I get everything settled there will be a slot open in the third tier i bet it would be such a treat to open every month. Your song recommendation was pretty cool I’d wanted to add it to my playlist but Apple Music doesn’t have it sadly. My song recommendation is “Bit rush” from league of legends music it came on thee other day after my playlist ended and even though I’ve never heard it before it was super nostalgic feeling. Good weekend vibes, Ali, Alicats~ I hope you're all holding strong and enduring (or enjoying) the heat. :3 Our little Octopus is really adorable! Even if that choice of swimwear is a little dangerous, I guessss I can make an exception for an ocean creature. Haha. Something about her colour scheme is just really gentle and pulls my eyes in nicely- I think it's the gradient in her hair that helps lead up to her face. What a cutie~ Aahh man, girls with guns and eyepatches, let's go. What a song choice. Thanks for that, it's crazy the kinds of memories that can jolt back suddenly after the music hits. Lucia is a fukkin' stone cold killer, otherwise known as 'best girl material'. xD With the nights getting warmer and darker, I'll actually return with a more ambient vibe of mine. For how many game OST's I listen to, oddly enough I think this may actually be the first piece I've recommended here that comes directly from a game-- but the track is "The Dew Meadows" from the Dream Tactics OST. It's one of my favourite background tracks for when I'm writing or otherwise zoning out on something. Everyone, take care of yourselves and keep your paws set upon the paths you choose. Ali, it's Pride Month. You know what that means. Anyways, "I Understand" by Jack Stauber is one of his more underrated songs. He hasn't released an album since 2018, and stopped posting on YouTube a few years ago. His Patreon was kinda active until January this year. I wonder what he's doing now; perhaps a new Adult Swim commission is in the works? Or is he just taking a break?

Loved the audio and the art, will probably listen to it again here in a couple minutes :) This week has been mostly uneventful, but I just really need to vent about my job. I’ve just gotten tired of my work these last few weeks cuz some of the shit my boss puts me through just makes me want to quit on the spot. No wonder I didn’t complete the 10 iten chore list in under an hour, its almost like this list is SUPPOSED to be split between two people on Saturdays, but someone decided to completely change the schedule just to NOT do that. And, to make it all even worse, there were two parties of 15 AT. THE. SAME. TIME. Right before closing. Bo shit I didn’t scrub your fucking shoes >:( Rant aside, I’ve wanted to find a different job, one that actually gives me hours and pays well, but at this rate I don’t know if that will happen. I just want out at this point :/ Anyways, song rec this time is “sound of silence” by Disturbed. A personal old favorite Random monstergirl showerthought: Since there are what seem to be cities underwater, you have to imagine how different the streets would be laid out specifically to fit all the different types of fishgirls and arthropodgirls everywhere, like a lionfish or a sunfish. Also Octopus girls are banned from competitive hide and seek due to numerous accounts of them squeezing into unreachable spots (Do you think this Girl is friends with the blue-ring octopusgirl?)

Almost completely forgot about this but luckily I got here on my time. Finished up a lot last night, mainly from that Emo Dnace night which was filled with nothing but pure 20-30 year olds just smoking, drinking and dancing to a lot of music. One song in general caught my attention, because I remember my older brother telling me that this is what most teens starts listening to once you get older. Teenagers by My Chemical Romance.

Thanks for the artwork and the update! Looking forward to seeing the completed Ali Boxes <.< Have you decided how you're going to apportion cards into each box yet? Also yeah I'm almost surprised you didn't go for the whole 8 octopus tentacles! I guess 4 octopus limbs and 4 human for a total of 8? If you want to draw more (and I would be very ok with more lol), maybe a scylla monster girl or another eldritch being like a shoggoth? First one is bottom half all tentacles like Ursula in The Little Mermaid, second one is like the whole no-holds-barred Unlimited Tentacle Works <<.<< Sorry I'm a bit late to the party; just got back home from a family member's wedding out of state. My back injury kept me from enjoying the afterparty as much as I wanted, but the actual ceremony itself was wonderful, my cousin and his bride looked absolutely radiant ^^

Thank you Kench! :D As for the third tier, they won’t be boxes per se, I’m just keeping all the goodies in said alichu cat box for organization 🐱 ❤️ What I’ll be sending out is a postcard with a hand written note, doodle and cards inside every month! :3 Thinking about it, I’m not sure if I’ve drawn a truly monstrous octopus girl- like her whole lower half is just octopus like you mentioned. Maybe I’ll try that sometime and have the full 8 arms! :) And please don’t apologize about being late! I always want people to interact on their own time :D I’m sorry to hear about your back giving you trouble, but am happy you enjoyed the wedding! 😊

I liked the art a lot for this one! Although, that's not really a surprise, huh? I feel like a broken record sometimes xD I did just notice the tentacle hair detail though. Reminds me a bit of Ninomae Ina'nis. I always thought that was a cool look. Also, I couldn't help but think about whether or not a bikini would be considered a normal outfit for underwater creatures. Like, could she just show up to work in that? Are there entire dress codes built around that sort of thing? Do they have bikini formal wear?! I've never heard "Shijun no Zankoku" before, nor watched the anime that it's featured in, but it absolutely has that 2000s anime OST sound to it. I find that's pretty comfy on its own. Feels like home! It kinda reminds me of "inner universe" by Origa if it had more guitars and less synth. I think it's probably the standout female vocals. Uncultured moment - I didn't know for the longest time that Yoko Kanno had done the music for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It explains why there are so many bangers though. My recommendation for this week is "Old Number Seven" by The Devil Makes Three. I couldn't remember if I'd mentioned it before, but I thought of this immediately after I'd made my recommendation post last week. This is WAY more in the vein of southern self-destruction. I know you're a fan of Jack too...not that you're having the same experiences as the singer or anything :P

I love Ina’s design too! When her group debuted my eyes were instantly drawn to her lol xD As for the clothes/bikini; in my head sea creatures see it as just normal clothes. I also like to think that our clothes would be embarrassing for them; so like reverse anime where the girl doesn’t want the guy to see her wearing a completely normal outfit haha! 🤣 The minute you brought up Ghost in the Shell the song instantly started playing in my head. God I love the anime and music. My nostalgia went back to all those late nights of adult swim/toonami playing ✨ I don’t think you mentioned Old Number Seven before but damn, I liked that! Southern self-destruction really was the best description for that song. Definitely not the same experience as the singer, but one verse got me in the feels; the “When I grew up fast, I guess I grew up mean. There's a thousand things inside my head I wish I ain't seen” But good music is supposed to do that! Thanks for showing me that one :D
