I feel that worked a closing shift yesterday then had to work a 10 to 10 12hour shift today Iā€™m so tired and my back hurts so Iā€™m just gonna lay down and chill out for a while listening Iā€™ll do stuff when I feel alive again. Glad to hear your having fun and the tier 3 prep is going well I hope it all goes smoothly. Iā€™d love to see the size of your entire collection honestly its just super cool my entire card collection is only about 300ish Pokemon cards at the moment used to have some other random cards I donā€™t know where they are anymore. As for anime rn Iā€™ve got like 2 weekly anime Iā€™m really enjoying but I have a like 12 Iā€™ve watched like the first 2 or 3 episodes of then just gave up on I think Iā€™m just gonna watch some older animeā€™s I can binge like parasite and Tokyo ghoul a lot of these newer animeā€™s feel really generic and low effort to me as of recent but maybe Iā€™m just spoiled after watching jujutsu kaisen and solo leveling and am expecting to much from new animeā€™s coming out. That whole submarine situation was interesting to me until it got memed to hell thatā€™s all I think of now when I hear about it underwater for me has always been a tenuous relationship Iā€™ve always been interested and absolutely horrified by it at the same time the things lurking at the bottom of the ocean are disturbing but there are so many genuinely beautiful things down there to. I canā€™t blame you oblivion is so fun and there is so much to explore I you could play it nearly forever and still find new stuff Ive just been doing tons of side quests recently I havenā€™t touched the main questline for a while so many interesting little storyā€™s all over the place and some of them give you cool unique rewards to. Iā€™ve seen about 3 scorpions in my house where I live all 3 times there was a lot of screaming not from me but I dealt with it as for bugs we donā€™t get much in the house some flys a mosquito my sneak (we kill those on sight) sometimes some spiders Whitch I just leave alone since they eat mosquitoes so were automatically allis but outside in the backyard since we have chickens though we have to deal with possums and rats and snakes alot the snakes it depends if itā€™s like a garden snake we just take them and release them rattlers we shoot cause their venom is scary Iā€™m not getting bitten by that possums we can normally just scare off but one time I had to fight one of the possums it was foaming and it had rabies and my dad wasnā€™t home but my mom and sisters were freaking out so I went out there and fought it with a sword I won but it was kinda scary having a rabid possum lunge at me for a second I felt like a hero then I was just kinda sad I hate harming animals even if they arenā€™t exactly friendly(except mosquitoes FUCK them) A big blue centipede honestly sounds cool but at the same time I know if I saw that as a kid while washng dishes Id probably freak to they have such creepy looking legs wouldnā€™t say Iā€™m afraid of them but certainly donā€™t like them whatever you do do not look up Peruvian giant yellow legged centipede those things are prehistoric monsters not to mention the fact they have a lethal neurotoxin and are really REALLY fast and some people just keep them as petsā€¦ This was a fun listen after a long day. You get yourself that caffine Ali I know certainly abuse that stuff with my work schedule.

Yay! Ali rambles! While I personally donā€™t collect cards, Iā€™d still wanna see the card money spread youā€™ve accumulated. But I feel like it would result in me sitting here like ā€œGirls?! I wanna see men!ā€ Lol. Also canā€™t wait for ā€œYou and your roommate listen to the neighbors fighting ASMR.ā€ I feel that fear for centipedes, sorta. Mines a bit more tame in comparison. I despise caterpillars, especially the hairy ones. Enough of me rambling. Thanks for the rambling, Ali!

Happy Late Birthday Minty! And thanks Ali for the tier updates! Getting to hear about the progress from post to post is really good hype, I'm getting more and more excited with each one. Shoutout to all the Alicats who gave the advice, too. I hadn't thought about the need to mask the identity of trading cards in transit, but I can totally see theft being a big deal for something like cards. -------- If we're asking about styles of card art that we like, I can't pick just one! I'm a huge fan of just CGDCT like you, I just like cute art a lot and never really thought about why it puts me in a happy moodā€”but then going completely the opposite direction, stuff that feels otherworldly creepy gives me (good) shivers. Eldritch, gothic, alienā€”doesn't matter, as long as you can look at it and think, "this is a supernatural thing I'm looking at, and it is not right and I don't know but it looks like it's probably dangerous." I dunno, I feel like I could talk about card art all day and not feel like I've said everything ( ^^ ") I will say that Vanguard as a card game loves its dragons/fantasy AND its cyber/mech stuff, and I play that game as my main, so even though I like all of that a lot, it takes a pretty extravagant design to win me over on cool points alone <.< -------- Years of active collecting makes me excited to hear, I would absolutely love to see some of the stuff you have! Seeing the highlights and which cards you want to spotlight the most for any reason would be a fun side video, absolutely. And I also kinda want to see just the sheer size of it, too, I'm always impressed when someone can curate a large collection of anything and cards are not an exception ^^ ---- Totally feel you on watching anime that sort of lose their spark You can definitely tell when the author has more space that they want to expand intoā€”a story to push, character arcs to explore, etc.ā€”and when they're just spinning their wheels and trying to make things keep gong however they can. For me I feel like that happens a lot in shonen anime, where it looks at the start like *something* is going to be different, but by the middle or end it's sort of become formulaic, or it feels more ass-pulley than innovative, or the things that made it so good are sidelined for other ideas. I saw it happen to Naruto in real time for the first time, and then when MHA came along and I got into it, I almost felt betrayed when I realized it was happening again >_< It's easy for me to get caught in the momentum when I'm binging, but when I come up for air, like when I'm watching weekly or reading fresh updates, it gets so much easier to spot that slack. Maybe I need to binge more, lol, that way I don't have to consider so hard which series I pick up and drop. ---- I feel you on how hard it can be to engage with the Pokemon media that you're not vibing with. Were there at least any highlights of Orange Islands that are worth mentioning? I feel like I remember them trying a couple cool things, like the Crystal Onix or Pink Pokes. But hey, I can't blame you for getting into a new game that you really like and setting the other stuff aside for a moment; I've done that like a thousand times before. Go play that Oblivion, get your fill! ....I feel like I should go watch some Pokemon myself, I haven't watched the Battle Frontier episodes since I was a kid and I really want to know if I only thought they were peak because of me being a literal child, or if they actually were good. Kinda scared to find out lol ( ^^ ") ---- Centipedes can be nasty if they feel threatened, and they're pretty easy to piss off to boot! That's a completely justified ick, I'm not a fan of the real life suckers either. The blue centipede story is crazy, though, I'd never heard of them being anything but warm colors before. A google search tells me that some subspecies of desert centipedes can be blue but that doesn't explain how one would've gotten in your friggen *sink*??? Centipedes absolutely look like the miniature versions of alien predators, you already know that the only thing stopping them from exterminating humanity is their lack of size and coordination (<_<"")

Given the month, I suppose I'll ask how the F4F is going. It's been over two years since your last post, and I recall you mentioning that you were interested in doing more of them. I like to listen to audios in the third person. Part of what helps me relax is keeping my brain occupied by taking the few pieces of information about the listener in the audio and making a backstory and personality for them. As such, I prefer 4A stuff, but having a good variety is nice.

Was writing this big old essay but accidentally fat fingered the fucking home bar on me phone. And patreon doesn't save comment drafts so i lost like 15 minutes of comments yay. Anyways short sweet and simple ig sry if this comes across harsh i dont mean to at all. Firstly i sub to your patreon since i like your comments and when if the third sub comes out ill probably switch to that one tbh. The perks just come as a bonus. Secondly i dont know if im full on dweeb. I dont have posters or figurines but i have watched q few and read alot of manga and anime. Per instance my favorite manga has to be the kings beast (basic love story) the shuinji family children (love triangle bs) and alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian (read dat before the thought of an anime adapt was even announced) Thirdly bugs i get ya. I lived in Arizona but now live in Washington. We have spiders here. Alot especially since its summer. For instance their was a wolf spider in my bathtub when i went to take a shower last week. Also about a. Month ago an ear wig crawled on me while i was eating fried chicken. I squeezed it while grabbing the little shit killing it in the process and its guts went all over me chicken. Still ate it im poor cant let no bug let my food go to waste lol. Anyways hope your doing alright and dont let bugs bite ig. Keep it up.

Ali your centipede story reminded me I let a spider live for it to catch other bugs about a week ago, and I havenā€™t seen it sinceā€¦. Also the lack of sleep is a bit too relatable, I had my insurance law exam last Friday, which I probably fumbled due to lack of sleep, I only got about 4 hours due to simply not being able to fall asleep šŸ—æ Finally, since youā€™re doing birthday wishes, my birthday is the 27th this month!

Hey Ali, I'm doing great and I hope things are great on your end too! I had my Switch 2 delivered this morning! I'm glad I was awake, they delivered it at 6:30am and just left it in a bag out front. But they also me a free soda and can of Pringles so that was cool lol As for preference for the cards. Hmmm... No preferences on my end :) I'm not picky about things at all, so it doesn't matter if it's dragons, cute things, or pretty ladies, or whatever. Lol. Last time you brought up the Shiunji Family Children, you praised it but I had said that I was disappointed because the show wasn't as degenerate as I thought it would be. Well, it looks like the shoe is on the other foot now :P I'm not a binge watcher, so I like watching things weekly. I think you're right about the anime that are airing right now, overall I'm kinda disappointed in almost everything I've watched. My favorite airing is probably the Apothecary Diaries. Ha, I recently went down a rabbit hole on videos of the Ocean Gate submarine. Do you remember the name of the documentary? And yeah, I can be obsessed with one thing until the next thing just comes along. Maybe it's just the way our brains are programmed lol I don't like bugs either, after a really rainy day I will sometimes find centipedes in the basement of the house. Every now and then I get some lavender or mint oil and mix a little with some water and then just spray it around places where I think bugs might be able to come in. Apparently they don't like it and I think it works.

Thank you Ali! Still trying to figure out if I actually want to do something for my bday or just sit back relax and make a good dinner lol either way, after today, I'm off work till the 16th! And for the Tier 3, I don't really have any preference in the cards myself, anything cool or cute lol do you have an idea on a set date when you're gonna do it btw? And omg, I know what you mean about anime this season, started off strong but now I'm finding myself 2-3 weeks behind, I'm just waiting for Kaiju#8 and DanDaDan now. Any upcoming ones that you're looking forward to? Also, yea, that ocean gate thing, I was fully invested in that when it was going on! And ugh... I do not like centipedes... I know i mentioned the roach on the face incident, but at my old place, I had the biggest house centipede I've ever seen dart across my foot!! Also, with how you mentioned 90 Day FiancƩ, remember when I mentioned how my coworker was trying to get me with her niece? Yeeaaa... it was exactly what I thought it was lol she was trying to do a 90 day fiancƩ thing, and get her niece hitched so she could move to the states lol

Thank you for the birthday wishes, sorry I mention it very late. I saw the previous post about the tier list, and I thought that how much it would cost, or how much I'm willing to buy it for. Shipping is always a lot and understandable, especially how this is probably the most physical thing I ever seen a creator do for their fans. It's rather nice though that you are doing something like this. Now, I also seen your newest post about the tier, so when you mention a surprise, I thought to go look. The sticks, the cards, the postcards, all the things you said would be there. I just notice when I thought to check when you mention there would be a surprise, that there are bells and I think pink string or yarn. I can't tell if I'm just weird, or because the only thing that cats and bells mix together usually are. But is Ali making collars for the Ali cats now. I can't wait to see Ali at like a convention or something, or like Youtube con, and she has to hear the many bells she gave everyone. There is going to be at least ten bells on me when if that ever happens.

Hope you had a wonderful day. :3 Really love how you're personalizing the new tier - it's such a thoughtful touch and makes it feel that much more special. :D Totally feel you on the anime pacing issue. It's so often either way too fast with plot packed into every second, or painfully slow with barely any character growth. Accel World was such a prime example of that - the anime just got interesting and thenā€¦ it ended right as the real arc was getting started. D: (Was still a good anime, though) Binging is definitely more comfortable for me too. Cliffhangers drive me nuts when I have to wait a week or more for resolution. Speaking of binging, I may or may not be guilty of running through the entire Final Destination series this weekend. xD I'd already seen some of them before, but I wanted a full refresher. Morbidly fitting too, considering the OceanGate theme you mentioned. The whole situation around that was so tragic, but at the same timeā€¦ also kind of baffling? Like, the second I saw that controller, I would've immediately backed out. That alone was a huge red flag. xD Still, I can't deny there is something strangely fascinating about how it all played out. If you're into that kind of deep-dive stuff, I'd totally recommend "On The Verge" on Youtube - they have similar videos, especially with cave and exploration stories that hit a similar eerie vibe. ^^

It's funny that you should mention being low energy so soon after I told you I don't know how you always seem to stay so productive :P I'm a firm believer in coffee fixing most things though. I feel you when it comes to difficulties getting into/sticking with certain anime. I don't want to sound old, but I miss when more anime consisted of just like one or two seasons. I rarely find myself able to watch newer things because I hate getting invested in the characters and making the time commitment just to be disappointed or lose interest. There's not much (media wise) that sucks more than having to stick it out for a series just because you're too stubborn to stop watching. I have similar feelings on live action TV as well. That's why I tend to be more of a movie person, I think. Your self-awareness is commendable, but this is YOUR ramble, after all. You could probably have just spent the whole time spreading your knowledge of Oceangate and the Titanic and most people would still tune in. Speaking of which, if you find macabre, ocean related disasters fascinating, you should look into the Byford Dolphin incident. Probably doesn't have the depth (ocean puns, right?) of the other topics, but interesting, nonetheless.

Thank you Kraiden! :D I havenā€™t gotten to the newest comments yet on the package preview picture but it makes me happy you like how itā€™s coming along so far! ā¤ļø Accel World sounds very familiar to me but Iā€™m not sure if I gave that one a chance or not. I know some animes are meant to bring viewers into the manga or game but even still- give me something to hold onto! šŸ˜­ lol I think I stopped watching the Final Destination movies after the third one. No reason in particular, I just totally forgot about them haha! I do remember the lasik eye surgery scene giving me nightmares though šŸ’€ Iā€™ll have to check out that YouTube channel! I love mystery stuff like that so Iā€™m always up for giving it a go ^_^ I also 100% agree: the cheap ass controller would have had me like, ā€œHell no!ā€ Absolute insanity, I swear!

Haha you jinxed me! XD lol I kid, I kid. Honestly, I think itā€™s the night shift schedule Iā€™m on at the moment for work. Itā€™s not the schedule necessarily, but sleeping during the day while itā€™s hot as heck outside really stinks šŸ˜­ Your stance on anime/movies is totally relatable and understandable. I do have some exceptions for long running series (Naruto, One Piece, etc.) but those are classics in my opinion. I think the thing that makes me lose interest nowadays is the extremely long wait time in between seasons. I get that things take time, but come on- if I have to wait three years for another season Iā€™m 100% going to forget everything and just not care as much. I know that may sound harsh but thatā€™s just how my brain works ; o ; I swear that damn Oceangate had me in a chokehold when it came out- I just couldnā€™t believe how insane the whole thing was. Itā€™s like my brain couldnā€™t rationalize it. I donā€™t believe Iā€™ve heard of the Byford Dolphin Incident before- Iā€™ll have to check it out! :)
