Hello Ali cats, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far! I appreciate all your messages and comments and will be getting to them tomorrow ❤️ I’ve had a pretty busy day with some work related responsibilities and now I just want to sit on my couch and play some games haha! 🤣

Above is the art of the monster girl goddess you were “sacrificed” to in our recent audio. I like how I drew this one and hope you all do too! :3 The second image is something I couldn’t help but want to share with you all. I already posted it on twitter, but I was lucky AGAIN in finding another MTG Final Fantasy Collector’s Pack! And not only that but I pulled the borderless surge foil cat bae, aka: the most valuable card I’ve pulled to date…ever ; w ; ❤️

I love playing and collecting certain Magic sets, but I’m not sure how big grading is with it. I feel like I should get this graded, even if I’m going to keep it. Any thoughts for those in the know?

Lastly, my music choice this week is more of a music/video collaboration! A creator I’ve enjoyed for a while now posted a cool MV I thought I’d share this week. Any other Calcium Miku (Calne Ca) fans? :3 As usual feel free to post song recs of your own ✨

The full artwork is super awesome, was definitely one of my favorites to listen too!!

I really like how you drew this character especially her hair and glowing eye also her design is just generally really unique and pretty. congratulations on your most valuable pull ever it’s a really cool looking card I’m happy for you! Your song/video recommendation was rad the music itself was really good and the video was spooky and cool skellys robots monsters brains and anime girls and wars sick! As for music this week my recommendation is the boss theme for the Fissure in the fog Caligo miasma of Night my favorite boss in Elden ring nightreign it’s an extremely cool ice dragon 🧊🐉 and I got the deluxe edition of the game so I got the art book and it’s so nice the designs in this game are top tier https://youtu.be/o0yz457hVec?si=BLauVokLhm3ovhxd it doesn’t really have a name besides his theme and it’s not on Music streaming platforms yet so I figured I’d just link it I’d also highly recommend looking up his art cause he’s freaken cool maybe a boss fight video aswell only if your interested of course. I actually died the first time I fought him because the fight was so cinematic and I was lost in awe and he just murdered me I beat him the second time around though I’m loving this game so much though every scene is magnificent or awe inspiring: I Hope you have a great time gaming and chillaxing have an amazing day Ali!

I'm a sucker for interesting eye, it really stand out to me. Its a cool design and the horns are really jagged looking. Looks like she can skewer me. No idea what grading the card means? Though I hope you keep getting lucky!

Bossanova51

Love the art she looks so cool! I wouldn’t mind being her sacrifice 👀

Now that I get a good look at her, I definitely see the Nordic inspirations. She looks awesome. Really like you can't really tell if she's kind or nefarious if you were to just look at the design. Damn. Just looked up the card out of curiosity on TCG. Shit, I'm jealous lol Happy for you too though :P I think you should get it graded. However, I will say that if you do get it graded, DO NOT get it graded through GameStop. I've heard too many horror stories of cards going missing.

Delta

So far so good with mine! Hope your weekend was good Ali ^_^ And I really like the design of her! Looks really good with how you have the whole two tone deal going on. And I saw your Twitter post! Congrats on the rare find!! Still no song recommendation for me ^_^; but yours was added to my playlist!

Kraiden

Understandable that you used the time to relax. Any update on your Oblivion or Wuthering Waves journey for us, or what's your Go-To at the moment? x3 Really like the art, get quite a mystic vibe from her. Was she maybe a little inspired by Envy, by any chance? :D You really have a paw for great MTG pulls, don't you? What's your secret? How many sacrifices did you have to make? x3 Y'shtola is definitely one of my favorites, so I can totally relate how hyped you must've been pulling her. xD I'm not super deep into the grading scene, but from what I've seen, it's definitely less common than in Pokemon. Usually, it's the vintage stuff that gets graded - otherwise, most people just use top loaders & sleeves. That said, if the card's in top condition (and it looks like it is), it might still be worth grading. Even if you're keeping it, having it graded gives you peace of mind and looks amazing on display. :D Great music pick too - the animation style reminded me a bit of Code Vein, so definitely some cool designs there. For my recommendation this time it's something from Honkai Star Rail. So beware that there could possibly be some spoilers if you decide to watch the video. "Proi Proi" by Nida.

Just now on my move to my hometown. The whole fiesta was cool and all but I didn't really do much other than watch TV and such. If anything, I just really didn't wanna stay home the whole time but either way it still felt boring. Song of the week is a chill song. Don't really listen to it often but it's still good to listen to from time to time. More Than You Know by Axwell /\ Ingrosso.

I saw a video I thought you might like called I am Ballin, I am Faded, by Edgar Bro on youtube.

Emeraldrop

Hello Alichu! Good work on the ritual monster girl, the hair looks nice! And great work on pulling that cat warlock.

Mento

If I'm not mistaken, we didn't meet the scariest of Monster girls yet. The desperate door to door salesman girl, yes this is a spongebob reference!

Mento

your artstyle is really evolving lately, kinda interesting tbh.

BlueAsh173

"I'm going to punish those villagers for what they did to you!" ...ain't the whole reason I'm here because of you??? Because your lonely and won't give rain because of that?? ">:3" Great audio! Love the bone effects, haven't heard those in a wild, I feel.

Thanks Mento! I sometimes think I have two/three art styles depending on the character or vibe I’m going for :D

In my opinion, a lot of the value in Magic comes from being able to play the cards and that's why a lot of people don't grade and slab up their cards unless they're literally the power 9. But since she could be played as a commander, you can easily just have her in a snap case or something similar and be totally fine! Amazing luck that you were able to pull her!

Thanks for the feedback thecho, I appreciate it! :) I’ve been doing some looking around online and it seems like it’s mainly vintage Magic that tends to get graded. It’s been a bit since I’ve played, but I was also made aware of how playable she is recently! I’ll probably hold off for now and just keep her protected in a top loader ✨

Artwork definitely exceeding Ali, though I must admit, I really do think you knocked it out of the park. I especially love the eyes, and the ears and antlers are certainly add to the character. When I look at her, she seems to be giving off a mischevious look, which is never a good sign when dealing in deities, lol, but do correct me if I'm wrong there (I spent quite a while covering up different parts of the face to see if I could see any other sort of look, thought I had something but lost it and didn't see it again - hey la) As for the MV you shared, the song sounds familiar, but I don't think I've heard it before? But it was certainly a good one. The animation too was quite well made, but I don't frequent the sort, so I'm afraid I can't provide a more in depth observation. My choice this week (I may have missed a week, whoops), sticking with the theme of acts I saw at the festival - The Tales of War by Orbit Culture

Thank you so much Pro! Maybe it’s the theme/inspiration of this week’s character but I felt extra good drawing it. I’m happy to hear you like it too ❤️ As for your song rec this week- holy shit, I loved it! That one is for sure going on my workout playlist 🤘 ✨
