Kinda crazy that you started talking about cooking shows and stuff cause my wife and I just started watching Master Chef again 😂 (kinda sad you were clowning on it😭) definitely gonna check out The Bear show and The Menu. Can’t wait to get the new tier I’m very excited!

I hate buying food and it just spoiled already. In my truck i have to be creative in making food. But when I am lazy I just make a cold sandwich 🥪 stack with a lot of deli meat. Cheap and keep me going for awhile. I like watching cooking or baking shows with my mom since she loves to watch it.

I did end up making that YouTube channel I was talking about. I just posted a 20-minute compilation of my stuff, and I'm going to let it sit for a few days. See if I get any strikes or stuff like that. If you want to check it out, I can give you the name of the vid. Generally, I'm trying to keep it on the DL for now to try not to get instantly claimed. The channel is already demonetized and banned in Russia for some reason, but that's not a big deal. I've had a really bad nut allergy for my whole life. I started out allergic to only tree nuts, but I developed a peanut allergy as well due to never eating them. As I've grown older, my allergies have reduced or gone away completely for some nuts. In particular, my peanut allergy got to a point where I could eat peanut-based products without any big side effects. The thing is, the way they verified that it was fine was really bad. I had to eat about half of a full jar of peanut butter straight up, in increasingly bigger spoonfuls over multiple hours. I don't like the taste of peanuts or peanut butter, and that might have been a cause. "The Menu" is quite good. Dumb rich people with nothing better to do will always try to turn somebody else's passion into a game. Every once in a while, I go back and watch some cooking and food stuff. Stuff like Diners, Drive-ins and Dives is fun to have on in the background. The Gordon Ramsay shows are entertaining, but they fall into an issue where they really go out of their way to make it cinematic and overly edited. They spam the horror chords and "vine booms" all the time to make things seem more serious than they are.

2026-09-11 01:00 I hate artificial grape flavor so much like it’s actually the worst one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted I hate. As for cherry’s I don’t mind the artificial flavor but I’m not a big fan except for those chocolate covered ones are so good personally my favorite artificial flavor though is banana flavored stuff like laffy taffy’s. That sucks when stuff goes bad before you even use it I bought some chocolate milk 3 days ago and forgot it in my car for a few hours and it spoiled I was so sad. Cottage cheese actually has substantially less lactose than most milk products so that makes sense. Cooking is something I love to do and to watch I’ll definitely check those shows out. I think being a chef would be cool but probably not something I wanna do professionally I don’t know if I’m good enough to even do that but I think regardless I’d rather just keep it as something I do for fun cooking for myself and those around me I wouldn’t want it to become a source of stress in my life. Hell’s Kitchen is so good Gorden Ramsey idiot sandwiching people has to be one of my absolute favorite things ever! My personal favorite cooking shows are probably iron chef good eats and anything else with Elton John and Gorden Ramsey just the perfect mix of educational and entertainment. Just be yourself is honestly some of the best advice you can give some one id like to think ive taken that to heart Id like to do some more creative projects im just so busy most of the time but things are settling down for me so I should find some more time I’d love to get into blacksmithing it combines so many things I’m interested in from badass weapons and armor any sort of metal accessories metallurgy fire and just thee ability to create something I can use and have fun with and also I just find the whole process fascinating it’s an art form steeped in metal and fire it’s perpetually beautiful to see a new blade come to life for me. Also you voice even with allergies is still very relaxing I always enjoy listening to you talk about things your interested it’s fun to hear about and your movie and show recommendations are usually in my wheelhouse. I hope you have a resplendent day Ali thanks for sharing with us.

I might be one of those people who asked for beginner asmr advice, if you’re also referring to questions on your YouTube channel. I was so impressed with how frequently you read and react to viewer messages and so grateful for you taking the time to answer my questions that I decided I really wanted to support your Patreon, which is how I wound up here. Not only do you make great content, but you also seem like a really kind person, so it’s a pleasure to be here. I also wanted to thank you for how much your content has helped my productivity with my own creative endeavors. It’s just so much easier for me to sit down and draw for three hours when I’m listening to asmr. Thank you again, and I hope you’re doing great.

My birthday is coming up soon (12 of juli). I said to my family and friends that i don't want to celebrate this year, but coincidentally a friend of mine planned a barbecue party with 2 of his online friends who gonna wisit him for the first time, yes on my birthday the 12 of july. So he asked me for permission to host the party and invited me and all our friends, so i guess i have a birthday party this year 😅. ~I edited the comment because i was really sleepy, who knows why 🤷🏼‍♂️

AIChan Dromeda

I know this is not asmr related, but I really love how you started in your journey and got where you are currently now! I really love this kind of stories it is very inspiring. I will always support you alichuart!

I never liked cherries besides the ones my grandpa grew- and blackberries for that matter. Can't stand the ones from the store lol.

DarkNozomi

This is why I’m an Alicat. I love the rambles I love getting to know you and your process! I really hope I’m able to get a slot for the new tier in time. Either way I’m happy to be here and support you, like your content does for me. Take care and have a good 4th and weekend. Thank you for everything you do!:3

I get where you're coming from when it comes to the fruits or fruit flavors that are not just simply from the produce section having a potentially off flavor. Once you take a fruit (like the maraschino cherries) and jar/can them, the stuff they include in the packaging is likely to affect the flavor and texture of them (hence why a pickle is different from a cucumber). I like me some cherries over the summer, just snatching them off the little stems and spitting out the pits while enjoying their mild sweetness. So, I'm glad you found natural cherries enjoyable at least. It's true that in art everyone starts somewhere, and one can make good art with a tool that may not be the most expensive thing out there. Even for digital art, I still just use Clip Studio Paint Pro (that I buy on discount) and never upgraded to the EX version, yet I still can make good art and potentially comics and animation with cause the EX version is mainly good for the wider array of tools available. Though I haven't done much recording, I just have a Mackie EM-91CU (which is like half the price of a Blue Yeti mic), and I think it has good mic quality for what I use it for. I just wish it had some of those buttons and knobs for direct control. I guess the only thing stopping me from trying new hobbies/ventures is finding/making the time to invest into them and how I wanna share them in a way that's what I wanna enjoy and make it feel worth while in posting from my end. I don't really expect to make a living off of these creative pursuits, but I do admit to wanting to make a bit of a side thing with them.

Cherries are sooo good. Great choice to revisit them! :> For me, Dragon fruit is one of those fruits I can never say no to. It's really tasty, even if it's not always easy to find. Passion fruit on the other hand is such a hit or miss for me though. The flavor is amazing, but the texture is just way too slimy... I usually stick to the juice or artificial versions for that reason. xD At least you saw the mold and didn't already take a bite. 🙃 Funny enough, I got a bunch of The Menu shorts pushed to me on Youtube a few weeks ago. It was a bit confusing without knowing the context and between the clips and the comment sections, I think I accidentally spoiled a few things for myself. D: But if you say it's still worth watching even knowing a bit, I might give it a shot! As for cooking shows, Jamie Oliver was pretty popular here. I've watched his shows on and off, but I've never actually tried making any of his recipes. Maybe one day. :3

I don't really like cherries too much and I'm just not big on candy in general. Especially sour patch kids, I hate sour patch kids :P The not being big on candy thing usually leads to me disliking the majority of all artificial fruit flavors. I'd rather eat an actual fruit than fruit flavored candy. I've always loved more savory foods instead of sweets. So I love salty snacks. The only sweets I typically like are chocolates. Wow. You have awful grocery store luck lol I make some mistakes where I get food that's almost expired, but I feel like that's more of an issue where I'm not reading what I grab. I've never actually seen The Bear, but I have heard of it. A lot of people I know talk about it and tell me I should watch it since it's quite literally up our alley. Been to a couple of the places in the show too. I have a few friends who have spent a lot of time working as cooks for restaurants, they all pretty much revere Anthony Bourdain. Funny enough, before I even knew what ASMR was I used to watch some cooking shows to sleep lol No Reservations was one of them. Idk what it is, but the whole travel aspect of some cooking shows and seeing what people eat or create is super relaxing. Oh and Matty Matheson is awesome. Really like your message at the end there, that's honestly some great advice that can be applied to so many things in life. I think people fixate too much on what others think instead of what they themselves are passionate about. I think you can kinda tell when a creator isn't passionate about something, especially on YouTube.

Ooo I really like The Menu! I was so surprised how funny it was as I thought it was just going to be a thriller, really really good movie though! I usually like watching youtubers that do food things like Binging with Babish and J. Kenji López-Alt, but I do occasionally watch shows, The Bear was really good and Gordon Ramsey did a 'round the world food' kind of show on disney+ called 'uncharted' that I thought was really cool. I think the worst grocery mishap i've had was the same as you mentioned before, with raw chicken juice getting everywhere because of a poorly packaged container, usually my food issues come from being clumsy and spilling things... That's so annoying that the cottage cheese was moldy while within the date though! It feels like there isn't much you can do about it as well which is always annoying. ;( Have a good day/week!

A little fun fact about grape flavour is that it's not based on the typical grapes we eat, but rather the Concord Grape, which is used for a variety of grape=flavoured things, compared to red or green ones that we normally see in supermarkets. As for the cherries on ice creams - Or cherry bakewell tarts over here - I can't stand those cherries either, compared to the norm. I used to hate them too, until I tasted a real cherry (Used to have a few fruit trees in the garden, damson, cherry, pear, apple, but we've only got the apple one now) Also mould in cottage cheese..? With a hard cheese I'd risk it depending on how bad it looked, but a soft cheese? Good call to discard it. I don't really watch many cooking shows myself though, bar probably a few Hells Kitchen episodes and Kitchen Nightmares, I don't know what it is about KN, I just can't get enough of it. But I have seen a few clips of the menu- and with that had the whole film spoiled, so hey-la.

Oh, cherries are coming in season? Gotta pick some up for my mom, she loves them too. And about those candied cherries for desserts, did you know that the red dye used to make them that bright is getting banned? There are concerns over potential cancer risks. Totally get the whole "the low-grade version is nothing like the real one" thing, there are a bunch of foods where the quality and the freshness aren't just a part of maximizing flavor, but where it's just not the same ingredient at all. Don't know if it counts as better/worse, but while I"m thining about it, did you know banana artificial flavoring isn't actually as "off" as we think it is? When it was first made, it was pretty bang-on close to what most bananas tasted like at the time, but then in the 50s, a banana blight wiped out most of that strain of banana, forcing producers to switch to a different type that tastes nothing like banana flavorings did. -------------- Fffffffuuuuck that on the moldy cheese, girl, that sucks ass. There's not much for me to add here, lol, it's just like, sometimes you look down and get the grocery equivalent of realizing you stepped in it and I empathize with that. Must've been a bad batch, like, not pasteurized all the way or sealed properly. -------------- Haven't seen The Menu, but I know of it! Guess I'll put it higher up on my To Watch priority list, make it the first movie I watch after I get back home from celebrating the 4th with family. And in the same vein, I'm usually not one to watch cable TV, but after that glowing recommendation of The Bear I almost feel obligated to give it a watch lol <.< ----------------- Looking forward to T3! I saw you posted the info about it right as I was writing this whole bit, so I'm gonna go take a look at that in just a mo'.

I think Concord grapes are used in jellies and jams too aren’t they? That would make sense why I never liked grape jelly in a PB&J haha! 😆 As for cheese, I know when my grandma had a block and it had a mold spot she’d just cut it off. But yeah, with soft cheese- no, no, no lol. Kitchen Nightmares is a good show too! I will say some of them kinda gross me out though 😭 I don’t know how in the world some places got that bad. My favorite part is always when he tries the food and just totally shits on it in the beginning lol 😂

alichuart

Oh shoot, I didn’t know that about the cherry coloring! That’s definitely not good 💀 I also didn’t know that about bananas, that’s interesting! I will say that to me, artificial banana flavoring is one of the good ones usually. It’s not typically too off but just more concentrated tasting. As for the cottage cheese, it was weird because my mom called and told me not to get chicken at this specific store too. Apparently she bought some that was already spoiled ; o ; Part of me wonders if the recent storms maybe knocked their power out or something? I’m not sure. If you choose to watch The Menu and The Bear I hope you enjoy them! They are both really good, even if you don’t cook! I love stuff that just has an overall message that anyone can appreciate ^_^ I hope you have a great 4th of July weekend Kench and stay safe!! ✨
