Realtime Gesture Video: Dynamic Angles (Patreon)

Posing characters in dynamic angles can make our designs, storyboards, comic panels much more dramatic and exciting.

It's a wonderful tool to implement when you want your story to have more action, drama, excitement and overall appeal.

Some of the tools we need to apply to capture this feeling of dynamic angles, is foreshortening.

Wow, this wee devil just keeps coming back again and again! We better do the work and practice to get control of it!

In this wonderful pack from Satine Zillah, the camera is moving to extreme angles, very high and very low.

 When you are creating your own designs, try to imagine where the 'camera' is, can you push it higher or lower to create a more dynamic angle?

 As well as foreshortening there are some other important tools and concepts you can think about when drawing these extreme angles.
