Realtime Gesture Video: Superhero (Patreon)

To continue our practice of dynamic angles and foreshortening, I choose this Superhero Pack from Satine Zillah's Art Station store.

As always, when the model is costumed, it can be a bit easier to get into the swing of things and really lean into that drama that comes with all things superhero!

This photo pack was a bit stiffer than other packs I've gotten from this store, but that gave me the challenge to really inject more drama into the poses.

I can definitely see the difference in exaggeration and drama between the first gesture drawing (which was quite boring and stiff) and with the last one (which was more exciting!).

I feel like with every new dynamic angle reference I draw, I get a little bit better.

Practice makes progress!

How is your dynamic angles practice going?
