Drawing Challenge: December 2023 (Patreon)

The last Draw-Along Challenge of the year!

Thank you to everyone who has taken part over the months. This is one of my favourite things to do on the Patreon. I love seeing where you take the reference, how you make it your own and seeing your skills and thought process evolve over time.

Since it is the last one...I'm going to throw everything at you with this reference!

There is SO MUCH going on right here. I'm sorry.

• Foreshortening
• Shoulder anatomy
• Leg anatomy
• Head / Neck anatomy
• Weight
• Lack of clarity
• Depth
• Hula Hoop

Consider this your end of year exam! Haha! Can you bring out all the tools you've learnt with me here to tackle this gesture?

Additional Challenges:

• Complete pose in under 3 minutes
• Draw gesture in a different material than you usually do.

----------

Draw the model in your style and if you'd like to share it and receive feedback along with your fellow patrons, you can share it in this Google Drive folder.

Be sure to include your name in the file name, so we know it's yours.

-----------

Submission deadline: Tuesday 2nd January.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Have fun!
