🍂 Mixing an Autumn Palette with Complementary Colors 🍂 (Patreon)

Autumn is all about those gorgeous, earthy colors—and you don’t need a drawer full of orange, rust, ochre, and brown paints to create them! 🎨
In this video, I’m showing you how to build a beautiful fall-inspired palette by mixing complementary colors. It’s a simple technique, but it’s also one of the best ways to really understand how colors interact with one another.
And there’s a bonus: mixing your own colors can save you money! Instead of buying a separate tube for every color you see, you can learn to create an amazing range of colors from the paints you already have. 💰✨
More importantly, every time you mix, you’re strengthening your color-mixing skills and your understanding of color relationships. You start to develop that wonderful artist instinct of knowing, “Hmm…this needs just a little more of its complement.” 😉
So grab your paints and mix along with me! And remember, there’s no such thing as a “wrong” color while you’re experimenting. Sometimes the most interesting colors are the ones you didn’t plan to make. 💛
I hope this gives you a few new ideas for creating your own Autumn in the Making palette—and maybe saves you a trip to the art store, too! 🍁🎨
Happy painting, my friends!
