Hello there,

To really sell this joke, I wanted to look even more dolled up than usual, so I caked on the makeup - in real life, it looked ridiculously clownish. Now I think I actually prefer this look! 🤡

One thing I've learned from making Totty comics is just how much the camera lies - it tends to downplay and diminish everything. I discovered early on that you have to use larger-than-life props, exaggerated poses and excessive makeup, otherwise everything can look very dull and mundane.
