A Bit Of Totty - 'Catch Of The Day' (Patreon)

Hello there!

Here's a new fishy-themed comic, along with a 'catchy' little tune🎣

I've had a couple of queries about my use of AI music. I use Suno to make these short songs - the app gives you the option to generate a song from scratch just by typing in a prompt. However, I prefer a more hands-on approach. I write the lyrics, record a basic tune on my piano and convert my very British/Mary Poppins vocal stylings into something less grating. Suno then adds the jazzy musical polish and mixes everything together. It's a back and forth process that still feels pretty creative, and although the end result can sound a bit digital and auto-tuned, it's far better than anything I could make on my own.

I really enjoy writing these little ditties and I hope you'll like them too, but if they're not your cup of tea, here's the comic version below :)
