Something that sticks out to me on occasion is just how hard it seems to be to make teeth in this kind of 3D art style. Avaro, TGTrinity, TinyThea, the 4th panel here. Everybody seems to have moments where they look odd. Does the program just have issues with things that close together?

I'm sorry, tone is difficult here. It's not a bother I'm GENUINELY curious about the mechanics. The teeth thing is something that I've seen in a lot of places with 3D art, So it just seems like something hard to do in the medium. I've never done 3D modeling, so I wanted to ask someone who does when I thought of it. I'm really sorry, this is something way too easy to make sound snotty and rude when I don't mean to.

No problem at all, just wondering how it is looking off. Some models have "realistic" shaders where teeth are more glass like, but it's deep in the uncanny valley. Plain white teeth might be unrealistic, but they blend much better in renders.

The thing that looks odd is the positioning (in all cases I've noticed); the teeth end up really far apart, or overlapping a little too much. Just to compare in the same place in the 9th image of the glow part one the tooth spacing is fine, in the 4th one here they start overlapping more.

That's the story for another day... and that's the maximum size as in I believe any bigger than absurdly big is just scaling up body parts and not that sexy.
