[FM23] Messi joins Al-Hilal (Patreon)

This custom file simulates Lionel Messi joining Al‑Hilal, offering a unique what-if situation in Football Manager.

Messi’s arrival transforms the Saudi side, combining elite creativity, vision, and finishing with a squad already strengthened by financial backing. His presence changes tactical dynamics, matchday strategies, and team morale, while also allowing players to explore how a global superstar adapts outside Europe.

The scenario also invites a natural comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo, who is already active in the region. Messi’s style focuses on playmaking, dribbling, and positional intelligence, whereas Ronaldo emphasizes athleticism, goal-scoring efficiency, and physical presence.
