Hello dear Patrons!

Following the release of our latest updates, members of our community voiced some concerns about the new Choice Rate system we introduced for reaching the first milestone.

Some of you thought it was great, while others told us they couldn't raise the rates high enough for all the tenants they wanted to promote, or simply just didn't get it.

Of course, we knew it was a significant change that would shift the way the game is played. That's exactly why we wanted to implement it, and why we think it's still too early to discard it.

We believe it needs more testing and tweaking before we decide whether it deserves a place in the game or not, at least until we release Phase Two and the second milestone.

We've already lowered the requirements a bit since launch, but we just had an idea: what if we tied the choice rate requirements to the difficulty settings?

That way, if you don't like the new system and want it to have less of an impact on gameplay, you could choose Easy, where the requirements would be much lower or inexistent.

On the other hand, if you really enjoy it, you could play on Hard, where the choice rates would have a much greater impact, allowing you to try and experiment on it.

Either way, you'd be helping us better understand, improve, and balance the system in a way that makes sense.
