wanted to share a bit of another comic I'm doing with these two currently. I wanna make something fun for valentines day too but this one is now at 9 pages and I'm having fun with it so far :)

OOGH YES this highkey my headcanon for how/why the drones do anything as intimate as making out (and maybe more, but we at least know that much). Their whole society is built around human mimicry; a LOT of what they do has no practical logic or purpose outside of that. So I picture if they were gonna "have sex" it'd be the same deal.. mimicking what they know even if they don't have sexual parts or reproductive system or even libido, but it's pleasurable in the sheer psychological sense of doing what is mutually understood as intimate. which just makes for really adorable situations like this where someone's fumbling around suggesting something and like....... figuring out what it's supposed to feel like ...... extremely good

this is exactly what I love about this idea as well :) drone society obviously mimics a lot of what humans used to do and just this idea of doing something this weird and intimate together because it's what people used to do makes null sex just as provocative and special for them even without any genetalia. It also just adds a really unique cuteness/cringiness esp with these two haha. Uzi's definitely seen "weird human animes" before and I imagine her being alone watching these kinds of things or reading/writing romantic fanfiction to escape into that more human fantasy, and now she has a best friend who loves her that she could even share her weird loner fantasies with. it's pretty sweet
