It's important to note that W at lvl1 only shields you if you hit an enemy hero so you need to line up both enemy heroes and friendly heroes. You also get more W heal output for every enemy hero you hit so hitting enemies on the outward path is even more important than hitting friendlies. One thing to note about Q at lvl1 is that it makes you a TON less mobile. You are Qing almost twice as often because of the CD reduction which makes you stand in place twice as often. I used to die all the time with even handed blessings until I switched to W build. The extra mobility value on a hero with already worst mobility in the game can't be overstated.

Loved the guide, just wanna say that I think piercing E quest is hella overrated. The fun thing is that it tells you how much the talent actually did something because the quest counter says how many times you hit more than one hero. I've seen so many games (even in CCL where people ought to know their talents!) where games ended with 3 or 4 stacks. Unless these few times actually won you the game/team fight and didn't just happen randomly in the midgame, any other talent would have likely gotten more value. You AA quite a few times so E cdr and some mana would very likely have gotten a ton more value. Furthermore, I think that W4 i also decent. It launches AAs so it will just passively heal some more whenever you W. So if you watch your replays (we all want to improve after all, see also Fan's great replay video!) and you only got value out of piercing light once or twice, maybe consider one of the other talents.

In low elo I have been top dps as manduin with dmg, kills and even set up engage for my team. It's insane... Never knew about the power of manduin.

Glad to hear that! I've heard a lot of good things about manduin especially under diamond, it can help defend yourself if your team won't help you out.

Hi Fan, What do you think about the 2nd Anduin build, where you would take W talent at 4, and desperate player at 7 instead the ones you mentioned. In this way you could aa more safely with 6.6 aa range. Thank you for the guide and for your answer in advance. :)

That's perfectly fine too, his talents are pretty flexible and that is a safe healer variation.

Nice! Now I can pull my friends towards the enemy team, give them a heal and make them hella fast. Thanks for the tips Fan! KEKW Great video as always :)

Are there certain maps you prefer to play anduin on? I know there’s a lot of variability with draft

SavageBeard

I love Anduin, a clarifying note for people: at 3:02 it throws a second auto attack, only when u auto the person while rooted.

A little idea to take into considerarion would be to either have some "overexplained" games or game review analysis for each hero where you would focus on explaining your decision making for each hero either in battle or in a macro aspect. I know it takes a lot of work, but just an idea in case you think It's doable :)

Yeah some heroes definitely excel on certain maps, I will try to point that out in future videos as well. Anduin is pretty versatile however, so I dont think there is any limitations on maps for him. Any time you need to bail someone out with passive or want a light bomb he is always solid.

A lot of this is on the Youtube, so for now can definitely look up the hero videos on youtube to complement these guides. In the future when I finish the build and tip videos, I could make some of these on patreon too though!
