Amaaaazing guide! I love Jaina so much, was my first hero like many other players, and I decided to play most of my first games with her so she has been my main hero since the beginning. Eventually my Valla came in and I have more games with her so she is kinda my main now, but I like to play a bit of every hero so I'm not a one trick potato. Also fun fact, the first time I entered your stream after watching you on Youtube for a while you asked me what was my favorite hero, and I said Jaina, you said you would play a Jaina game for me too see, and I was like a child entering a sweat candy shop. I never left since, and now I'm here :) Thank you for your content Fan <3

Why would you ever Q-E instead of E-Q? E is an almost instant attack, slowing enemies and thus making landing a successful Q MUCH easier. If you open with Q, it's rather slow and can miss if it's not set up for. Also, AFAIK Q deals more damage than E. Therefore, E-Q should do more damage to a single target. E-Q is an easier combo that deals more damage.

Because of the skill build. True, EQ is actually better before Root level 7, however once you get 7 E CDR and 16 E root both of these talents do not want E to be the first spell to be used or else you get no benefit from the respective talents. One other benefit is Q is longer range than E so it is more likely to be able to safely open with Q. If you are pre level 7 and also in range to E, then EQ is better in that situation but its a pretty niche one IMO so I didn't bother going fully over it.
