So just a reminder, drunk re-watches are LOUD.

And for whatever reason, I look totally stoned. And my hair is trash. So, more of the same for a drunk re-watch, right?

Love this...your drunk re-watches are delightful, especially your OTH ones. So glad you continued in order and did 1x03 so we could get the first Naley interactions. Glad you loved it too, even the second time around. First off...love the fact that you said at the beginning of this how you were speeding through with your OTH reactions because you just wanted to be able to read Naley fanfic, lol. Gosh I love hearing that so much, hehe. Don't worry, you will have so much Naley fanfic to get to......you will literally have a lifetime of reading there is so much content, hehe. Secondly......yes you can still buy the replica Naley cracker jack bracelet online. Ebay and Etsy used to have plenty, but I would recommend ordering them from oth-gifts.com because they are local in the area, and it just looks and feels more authentic if you ask me. Plus, it comes with the cracker jack pouch as well....and it's only $11 so get a couple. That way you can enjoy wearing them now for your OTH reactions, and then maybe save one for Dan to present to you at some point, lol. What you need to do is have Dan give you one of the bracelets with a trip to Wilmington, N.C. (for a birthday or anniversary present) and that way you can enjoy the town and do a tour of Wilmington and get to explore all the filming locations and see the studios where the show filmed, etc... If you've never been, you will love the area. But yes...you can certainly stock up on the Naley cracker jack bracelets now!!! And isn't it funny how watching this episode again after you are this far into the show, how quickly you realize how great Naley were right off the bat. This episode showcases their palpable chemistry together and you see what the writers and producers saw immediately, which is why the rest is history, lol. Also yes...it's fair to point out Dan's influence over Nathan and how that played the biggest part in why he behaved the way he did pre-Haley. Plus, he was only 16 years old. It makes it a little easier to except the fact that his future wasn't carved in stone at this point, and how the love of a good woman who believed in him, was all he needed to flourish and bring out the great man that he turned out to be. An incredible husband, father, and family man. So glad you ended up doing this re-watch, and next time you want to do an OTH one, you should either do every season premiere and finale, or just randomly pick your favorites over the years. And I too think that Brooke is also a delightful character to root for. I don't hate Peyton either, but I don't think her character development post high school is anything to write home about. Peyton now is night and day from how she was portrayed in the earlier seasons, and it's just sad. She's lost all of her spunk to me, plus once you know that her character is one of misery, it just really makes it hard to enjoy her. Brooke on the other hand, as well as Naley have amazing journeys and story arcs to follow, as well as incredible character developments. P.S. Love hearing that your hiccup trick is the same one that I always remember as a kid too, lol. My mother always told me the same thing, and I remember her standing behind me as a kid, holding my ears plugged, while I gulped down 10 sips of water without taking a breath, so it's the same thing as your version with the ears and nose plugged. I have never heard of anyone else knowing that trick....so thanks for sharing. That's so awesome, it really does work!!!
