Hello, hello. Happy Sunday (just barely). I was 100% sure I wasn't going to do this today. But here we are. Go, me.
I feel like we've got lots of new stuff this week. We finish S2 and start S3 of Greek. We finish S3 of Ginny & Georgia. The replacement for it will start next Tuesday. Currently, All American is winning is the poll, so get your last minute votes in, if you haven't yet! And we finish Siren S2 (this show has no right to be this fucking good 🤣).
Also, one of you guys (I'm so sorry I forgot who) told me that The Vampire Diaries and The Originals aren't really one to one this season. I was using this guide: https://www.quora.com/In-what-order-should-you-watch-The-Vampire-Diaries-and-The-Originals-by-episode/answer/Shivam-Upadhyay-466 but it was one to one for so long, that I stopped paying attention. Does this seem accurate going forward?
I owe so, so, so many of you messages. I'm so sorry. I have not kept on top of it. But, if you've messaged me, you 100% will get a response from me this week. If your message is about Vimeo, no we cannot access it right now. That being said, I will absolutely still reply to you.
I posted Sinner yesterday. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It felt like two totally different movies. But, I liked both of them. I'm just not sure they should be in the same movie. That said, Reniece said the director is amazing, and since I liked the two halves (well, maybe 2/3 and 1/3) I'm going to look into some of their other stuff. I'm not a big movie person outside of horror, so there's a good chance I haven't seen any of them.
Also, we have another tie for second place. So, I'm supposed to post the second place movie on the 28th. Last month I did a tie breaker. This month, I'm going to watch them both. But, guys, try not to make a habit of tying things. I don't anticipate watching both all the time. Lol. But both sequels: 2 Fast, 2 Furious, and How to Train Your Dragon 2 seems too fun not to watch both. I just flipped a coin. How to Train Your Dragon 2 will post on the 21st and 2 Fast, 2 Furious will post on the 28th.
So, last night, I ended up down a YouTube rabbit hole of watching people read. Yes, I realize how insane that sounds. But, after watching a zillion people read for hours on end, I wanna do it too. So, I'm going to try to read for 30 hours this week. I don't know if this is achievable (I'm planning to set my alarm for 5am this week to get 90 minutes in before my day starts), but I'm very curious to see how it turns out. I downloaded a bunch of new books onto my Kindle and we're starting tomorrow! I'll update you in next week's schedule post. (Total crazy side thought: am I the only one who remembers Clarissa watching 24 hours of TV straight as a school project? I 100% want to try to read for 24 hours straight. But I think my all nighter days might be behind me. Sigh).
Speaking of reading, I just finished Butcher and Blackbird. It was fine. A decent 4 star book. But I don't know if I should continue the series. Have any of you guys read this? Is it worth it to read the other two books?
I've been watching a lot of luge, skeleton, ski jumping, and snowboarding. I think I'd be awful at every single winter olympic sport. (Well, summer too, but that's for two years from now Dana to worry about). Have any of you guys done any of these sports? I'd LOVE to try curling, but other than that, I think I'd be hopeless.
Enjoy what's left of your weekend, dolls!
