Happy New Year Everyone! Love these shows!

That story about the beetle black, fly eyed, skittering critter was traumatizing! I loved it! I don’t know if I ever could have stayed in that house alone again though!

Am honored to have my "Dark side" call kick off another fantastic show!!

Happy New Year! I hope everybody here has learned by now it’s not safe to call on the dark side! Thanks for replaying Clary, I thought it was played last year but guess it must have been early 25. Was shocked to hear it again anyway. Also had a 20p drop on boxing day when I bought an air fryer.

As a KYian I want to respond to the call on the pterosaur spotted down toward Mammoth Cave. The wingspan isn't natural for a gliding animal, fossil records show the largest known pterosaur has an estimated wingspan of less than 50ft (the Quetzalcoatlus). I will attach a link to an article on pterosaur size and locomotion. It is not too uncommon to see sea birds in KY, especially since we have a large density of waterways, as well as large lakes. White pelicans and frigate birds are spotted here, and both birds are large and frequently mistaken when in flight. The frigate bird has a very prehistoric silhouette. I remember the first time I saw one, I was spooked! Blue herons are really common, but seeing them in flight is a spectacular treat. They are so primitive looking, and if you get to hear one while it's flying you'll think you've seen a dragon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHnPWi2zs40
