I think profiling a specific cryptid for each of these "Beyond" episodes is exactly the best thing you could be doing .. brilliant idea! you don't have to use anyone's calls from the main show and it's exactly what I would personally love to get as extra bonus content. I'm a layman when it comes to cryptids and someone more well-versed like you doing a deep dive on one from the show or one that's even more esoteric is kind of something I've always wanted .. of course I know how to use Google, but it's just not the same thing as having a compilation of everything in one place (with a host) .. so thank you! I just wanted to give you some fan feedback and let you know that I at least love the new format .. keep doing what you're doing, Derek :)

I agree completely with what Robert said! The Cryptonaut Podcast does this format; gathering old reports of a specific sighting, and spend the episode reading the news or magazine article and then, as a group of guys chewing the fat would do, discuss its plausibility and possible debunking views - kind of like what you do. I, too, appreciate your format here, taking an item that you've researched and discuss. It's a way for us to get material that you wouldn't normally broadcast. As Robert said, it's like we're getting bonus content. Sweet.
