They got me again, last night's recording, while amazing, is pretty much unusable.  We're working on rescheduling so I should have the episode up soon, just not today.  So sorry for the delay, unfortunately, this is something that happens from time to time. Thanks for understanding!

More behind the scenes trivia...  When I was forced to change the name of the show (another show with a similar sounding name threatened a lawsuit if I didnt change it). I had it narrowed down to two names...  "Monsters Among Us" and "Eyes in the Dark".  I think it's obvious why MAU won out.  HA HA!  Not all ideas are good ideas.

Pulling my patreon support. While it is understandable that you have a bunch going on with television and the upcoming wedding, you seem to forget your base more often than not... I am a fan, and will continue to listen, however your dedication to the paying subscriber seems to be slim to none. I say this as a true fan, from the very beginning. If you are going to offer something like the "2 extra episodes a month" as advertised in countless episodes than do it. Or if you do not have the time to post the extra episodes just say "hey guys I have too much going on with the wedding and television, gonna miss a month or two, but I will give you a 2 hour interview in August". I am sure I will regret this, but I am speaking on behalf of other members in the community (who will not be named). This is just too much like a middle school relationship, I truly do appreciate all of your hard work Derek... I just dont appreciate the bullshit. If I may give one suggestion, have Addey or Warren cover down for you on weeks you can't post any paid content, we love them just as much as we love you! In any case I hope you can take care of them gremlins! Very Respectfully Nick

Agree with you Terry. Things happen and life gets in the way. People are not perfect and those who "expect" things only end up disappointing themselves in the end. I enjoy what Derek does for his listeners. But I also don't expect him to be at my back and call.

I was always curious if Here Be Monsters gave you trouble n that's why you had to switch! That is annoying, because I loved the OG name and intro you used to do...plus this podcast is way more suited to it then theirs haha but you did a good job picking an alternative. Thanks for the trivia bit!

I agree with Terrie, it is a labor of love to put this together. Life is never smooth, cars break down, equipment breaks, floods happen. It’s a miracle we get anything done. I just wanted to support the podcast and offset it because I love it so much. Cheers to all the hard working folks that put it on.
