The video was definitely creepy and well done. They had me hooked and I was even thinking, dang this might be real, until... the creature started doing its creepy backwards walk and you can hear the buddy on the phone start talking in tongues. I don’t like being the poop-pooer but they lost me when I heard that. But all in all it’s a pretty creepy video for sure

The thing that makes me think that video is faked is the man’s reaction. The figure looks like a man. I don’t want to shoot what’s probably a harmless prankster or crack head, but I’d sure run out there with a broom and beat him like a mangy raccoon. “Go on, git!”

Definitely on your side on this Derek. Someone is definitely in his backyard, and I believe that he is genuinely freaked out. He's definitely not in on it in my opinion. To me, it looks like a human being who is either extremely pale, or theyve painted themselves white. For me, there are only a few explanations: 1. Someone is just messing with him to have a laugh 2. Someone is on some pretty good drugs 3. Someone is a bit mentally disturbed a. as in, not all there b. or maybe disturbed as in, a sinister fashion. Buffalo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs comes to mind, or maybe Bjork's stalker (if you want to be disturbed, Look him up on youtube) And then theres my 4th idea, which I know neither of you take much stock in, but I believe can happen: Possession of some sort As for the story from Mysterious Universe David was talking about, about the guy being dragged off by a yowie, I vaguely remember that. It seems to me they were a bit suspicious of the caller. They werent in on it being fake, if it was fake. I just tweeted at one of the hosts, hoping he'll remember some details. Even if it was fake, it was pretty creepy to hear. If it was fake, he was a very good actor.

The Mysterious Universe clip David mentions was the story of 'Bongo' . As I recall, Ben & Aaron got the tape/interview off local Aussie media, and there was speculation that Bongo was in/from a local sanitorium. Bongo called their show and broke down again. I don't recall if they reached a final verdict. on whether it was true or a hoax.
