Sorry, late to the party on Patreon, but been listening to the main show since the beginning! With regard to the black dogs, just like to add another to the mix, or even two. King Shepards are a breed originated from German Shepards and crossed with Malamutes and some huskies, but look like GSD’s, only the males avg. around 140lbs, and there are blues, blacks, and dark browns that look extremely wolf-like, though they have no immediate wolf dna. The other would be actual wolf hybrids, which have a wide range of sizes with some extremely large (125-150lbs) and are bred to retain wolf features. Just throwing it out there.

I want to add something regarding the last story from NC. There’s a home in my family, located in Morganton, NC that’s a notoriously haunted house. In the mid 1980’s, we had a history professor from NCS West living there and he documented many stranger things. One occurred in the old house slave quarters in the basement when he first moved in and began restoration. The old slave quarters (basement now) was filled with snakes one day, many not indigenous to NC LIKE Western Diamond’s backs and sidewinders from the SW. He had an article from a local paper telling the story as they had to get snake hunters to come in and capture them all but I’ve never been able to find the article online. The house is known to be haunted by my 2x great grandad as the ghost has left footprints in the dirt, snow, and mud outside the house with one of those tracks being a peg leg track and he had lost his leg in the war prior to being killed at thee Battle of Wilderness several months later. I have a long list of tales regarding this grand old home I would be happy to share at some point. But the snake thing resonated with the last story here about hearing all the snakes, even though he was 2 1/2 hours away in the flatlands instead of up in the hills

The Ghost Adventures episode the guy is referring to is Wyoming Frontier Prison in season 8, episode 12 (as listed on MAX). And yes, I'm playing catch up as well. 🙃

I second that motion! The new graphics are awesome.

Playing catch up on Patreon episodes and about fell out of my chair when he mentioned the NAWAC report between Cisco and Cross Plains. My husband and I grew up in Cross Plains and currently live in Cisco. Guess we will be much more aware when driving on 206 to visit the family from now on!! Goosebumps!

Growing up 30 minutes from Mt. Airey NC I would almost guarantee that the three guys were just other teens messing with them, it's the country and not much better to do. As a teen my friends and I would do the same thing at our local "gravity hill", hide in the woods and jump out as the people stopped their cars, now 20 years later I wonder how we didn't get shot one of the several times we did this. But, as he said real people are much scarier than ghost so always keep an eye out at your local legend spot.
