I was listening to the call about the woman in New York who was dressed like in "the 70s," in a long skirt and a button-up blouse, and I thought, "Oh, they must mean the 1870's," because nobody dressed like that in the 1970s that /I/ lived through. Then at the end, Derek said "...even if it's the /recent/ past - so he apparently meant the 1970's. Okay, I know most listeners today weren't alive then, but please, do a search. Of course, I might have fallen into a weird time slip tonight - who knows?

Listening, and relistening, to the show is such a comfort. It always helps cheer me up on the dark days. Thank you Derek.

Derek! Such a good idea for the website :) I’m not sure what the “what-ifs” would be, but don’t they have this site for bed bugs? Legally doesn’t seem like a big deal (?)

Kimberly Carney

Hey Derek. I'm actually working on a similar website with my computer whiz nephew. But it's more of a data base by state of personal haunting experiences and I will be encouraging people to share addresses if they are willing to. There are some sites out there to look up addresses for haunted houses for sake. But I really want to be able to pin down the "truly" most haunted state.

Just a comment on the subject of blimps, balloons, aerostats. The US Navy had a blimp tethered on a 15000 foot cable on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico for many years. I'm sure it was used as an antenna of some sort. As for aerostats being mistaken for UFOs, I can imagine that the pattern of lights could be a heat source for some type of convection propulsion system. Again, this is just an opinion...

B Thomas

A clarification: a convection type of propulsion would be silent...
