What are your thoughts about genii cucullati? Obviously not everything in that category could be correlated with mirrored men! But…some of the images seem kind of interesting to me. Maybe these entities (or entity) aren’t (isn’t) new, but actually very old? I read that the short cloaks worn in these ancient images were basically a working or middle class man’s fairly decent coat…maybe not unlike the tweeds or trench coats that they are sometimes seen in today. Some of the more abstract “triple goddess” images, like the one from Roman Bath, seem like they could potentially depict something similar as well.

FYI, the Boundary Waters region of Minnesota is the location of frequent Bigfoot sightings. And as Derek points out, the tree-shaking behavior is fairly common throughout the US

For the gentleman who had covid and felt like he might *wolf-out*; did he go to the doctor and was perhaps prescribed prednisone (a steroid that doctors prescribe for the lungs when you have a respiratory illness)? That stuff can/will make you feel all these things. I cannot explain the dreams but they definitely make me feel the rage and make me super hungry. Just a thought; not so much paranormal but more chemical. Love the show Derek! Keep it up!

This is my favorite podcast but I’m also a true crime podcast listener. I first stumbled across MAU after a crossover episode on a true crime podcast. Anyway, the story of the older woman who died under mysterious circumstances in a fire has bothered me since I heard it. I live in Western NY. It was mentioned that this old farm house was purchased in 2009. This raised an alarm bell for me but I could not figure out why. Recently, I’ve been listening to a podcast that details Israel Keyes. He was an awful serial killer. He would travel extensively to commit crimes. He would travel a number of times between northern Indiana where he had family living to his remote property in Constable NY. I’ve wondered if he sometimes travelled through western NY on his way to northern NY. He’s been known to break into homes including old farm houses. He also was known to burn evidence of his crimes. He rarely left anyone he killed but he did also kill people and then make it look like an accident on occasion. I had to listen to this episode again and it still weighs on my mind. Did Israel Keyes travel through this area of western NY. He was known to travel to NY and the northeast in those years. He committed several terrible crimes in Vermont and Northern NY between 2009 and 2011. One of several routes between Northern Indiana and Northern NY could be through western NY. This is just speculation but it’s never sat well with me that he wouldn’t have ever travelled through western NY knowing his destinations. Just some thoughts. Thanks
