I'm actually so upset with what happens in episode 13 with Chandler. I'm hoping this makes room for better things in the future. Otherwise there were some really good jokes this week that got me cracking up. Enjoy :)

Little fun fact - the cast, and especially the girls, really liked Paget Brewster who played Kathy, and they really tried to fight for her to stay on the show, but I guess in the end the writers wanted to go a different way.

Chandler was wrong to listen to Joey but if one fight pushed Kathy over the edge then she wasn’t worth keeping to begin with.

Jennifer Aniston and Tate Donovan (Joshua) were engaged but broke up shortly before this was filmed so it was a bit awkward. Also, Tate voiced Hercules in the animated Disney movie from 1997 where Charlton Heston served as narrator. I was actually so pissed the writers did that with Kathy. In spite of what happened with Chandler when she was with Joey it felt so out of character for her. "How you doin'?" is ICONIC!

Re watching this for the first time since it aired pretty much. I never realized what an about - face the character of Kathy took. It seems a little rushed, especially when they spent so many episodes building her character. Like the show runners just decided to steer the ship in another direction.

Chandler deserves a good, loving relationship. He seems like he is really sweet and caring and would have a lot to give to the right woman.

Chandler isn't wrong though. You VERY often lose them the way you catch them. I really liked Kathy but when it comes down to it, she cheated on Joey with Chandler. If their friendship wasn't already so strong, that would have demolished it. Then, AFTER tearing them apart, she says she's leaving because she doesn't want to come between friends (bit late!?). Then Chandler has a pretty valid reason to be worried, so she goes and sleeps with the guy he told her he was worried about.
