This was a great start to the season! I loved that we know how the antagonists are almost straight away and the world building already. Enjoy :)

Yay! The start of the best Korra season! 3x01 is lowkey one of my favorite Korra episodes.

Her way of waterbending is very cool but I don't dig concepts like telepathic bending they keep introducing either. Some call it expanding, I call it turning a good hard magic system into a bad soft one. Keep adding loose pieces to the puzzle and then you break the system and can solve conflicts with vague magical solutions like they already did in season 2.

About Dai Li and Laogai Lake, just last week I was reading a book about the Chinese Civil War and the Cultural Revolution. And found that Laogai was actually a criminal justice system used in China, the purpose of which was re-educate people through labor. And Dai Li is the name of a real general. I mean, I'm a true Avatar fan and just found these facts a week ago. I may have read this before but never really paid attention to it, but reading it last week just blow my mind like "wait, what, I know that" 😂

Ayo, I'm also born in 1999 lol, although I'll be 25 in 5 days already.

We finally get to the only good part of the love triangle: Korra and Asami’s friendship!

Back in your Book 1 Episode 10 reaction you commented something about being surprised that Aang never found more airbenders and all I could think about was how I couldn’t wait for you to start season 3!

Shannen Den Hartog

Please remember that season 1 and 2 the writers were told they were not getting extended. Season 3 they got told they were getting 2 seasons to finish the story. That is why it feels so different. Also suddenly about halfway in season 3 Nickelodeon stopped airing the episodes on tv. I'll let you find out why that was the case, Nickelodeon said: "We aren't getting the numbers".

ugh no bad episode this season, just thoroughly entertaining! excited to start :D

When will there be a reaction to friends?

So glad that you are starting season 3. The book is named well and you get some more background on Korra's past.
