I'm already super invested in the plot of this season! I feel so sorry for Will though. It seems like nothing will be the same again for him after season 1. I do like however that the stakes seem to be increasing and there's an entirely different mystery taking place. Enjoy :)

Oh my god I've never clicked on a notification so fast! So lucky to be on holidays 💪. Thank you Oscar for this 😊

Danielle Lewis

Never clicked so fast! Been waiting, so excited, even though I have seen it a few times already!

melissa.xoxo

I’ve never seen the show but maybe I’ll have to give it a try sometime. Thanks Oscar for all your hard work! I do have another 2 suggestions (sorry, lol): Shark Tale and Soul Surfer

Ali D

I’m not wishing the seasons away, but come hell or high water, no matter what my financial situation is, I will have access to the Patreon for S4 😄

Danielle Lewis

You definitely need to watch the goodies now that Sean Astin has joined the cast! So you get any little nods back to it!

Matthew Richson

Is this primarily where the upload focus at the moment? Because I could use a movie reaction… I’d also like to make a recommendation, Rango.

Laura Cabrera

Yes!! I was waiting for this video the whole week :)

Teej

So excited to watch this reaction this morning!!

Bruno G.

You got me back into Stranger Things hahahaha, I watched only season 1 when it came out, but watching along with you reminded me how GOOD the show is

Wall-E

What a way to start this day! Thanks, Oscar!

Kate

Can you imagine the amount of bravery it took to stand on that field and yell "no more" to a monster? Poor will, man

Shaya Sims

omg we’re so close to season 3 & 4 im kinda giddy atp 😂

Shanae K.

Hi, Oscar. I'm so excited to watch this with you. I'm still in the first episode. Just catching up.

Teej

I was born in the mid 90s, but another thing I love about this show is all of the music they use. Totally brings you back to the time of the 80s and helps you immerse yourself in the culture of that particular decade.

Anna H

Season 1 and 2 is some of the best television I’ve ever enjoyed. I cannot WAIT to see you get immersed into the coming episodes! Really brings me back to that joy when it came out

Natasha B

I am enjoying my rewatch of this series with you.

SubourbonMermaid

Oscar, yes thank you!!! I was hoping and crossing my fingers for a ST upload, trying to be so patient. HELL YEAH! Let's goooo!

Heather Geer

The way this show is written just always impresses me. Like that moment between Will and Mike having a one-on-one conversation is literally all you need to understand their friendship. I also am so glad Max has arrived! Side note: I had the opportunity to meet some of the Stranger Things cast a few years ago, and as much as Billy (Max’s brother) is AWFUL, he’s probably one of the nicest guys ever with fans. Everyone I met was fantastic. 👌 Can’t wait for more!!

Teej

I’m not sure if the Duffer brothers have ever mentioned this, but Strangers Things gives off very Stephen King vibes. I wonder if he is an inspiration for them. This show gives the wonderful friendships and coming of age story that is very similar to It and Stand By Me (or The Body)… Speaking of, another movie recommendation that has a bit of this feel to it that I recommend is the newer It movie if you haven’t seen it already. I recommend it for October like Halloween season. It’s horror and there are jump scares I will admit, but it’s a solid friendship movie that gives the same kind of vibes as Stranger Things. I actually think that movie and the first season came out around the same time and there’s one cast member from the show who’s also in It.

DudeTrue

Bobwise the Brave... we wouldn't have made it far without Bob. Bob Newby is my hero.

Valerie Reed

Hey Oscar, I was wondering if you would mind turning on subtitles while watching stuff. Since you keep the audio lower for whatever you’re watching, it makes it difficult as a hard of hearing person to understand the show. Thanks so much, loving these ST reactions!

lauren ☆

my favorite pairing in the entire show (and one in which I think you are *really* going to enjoy) starts in this season and I can't wait for you to experience it haha

DudeTrue

Just wanna say that I love that Max was a "zoomer" before I had ever heard that word. Especially cool because Max isn't gen Z, but Sadie Sink (the actress) is!

Kim Helinkö

Billy was my favourite character in this series

Johnny Stapleton

Just got home from work and can’t wait to watch!

J. J.

Joe Keery (Steve) is like 2-3 years older than Dacre Montgomery (Billy) (Jonathan is older than him too, and Nancy is about the same age). The mustache must just mature him! 😉

Ashlyn Crowe

Oh my gosh I am so excited to watch!

American Mum Reacts

I’m here for the full lengths! Can’t wait to watch! 💚

Evie

These reactions are the highlight of my week! If you’re open to taking movie suggestions, I highly recommend an anime called A Silent Voice. It’s one of my favourite movies and never fails to make me cry. I also highly recommend Shutter Island if you’re looking for something suspenseful!

Recable

I need more!

LeAnna

I was only around 15 when this show initially came out so I was not one to show much interest in watching it then, but when i started watching it about a year ago I fell in love with it. So glad that you’re enjoying it so far :)

Tara ✨💫

Oscar, you need to watch The Goonies and Back to the Future SOON! The Duffer brothers used the group of kids from The Goonies as inspiration for this group of kids and Sean Astin (Samwise) was one of the kids. There’s a pretty good Easter egg coming up. There are also Back to the Future spoilers.

Sarah

Fun fact! Bob makes numerous references to Stephen King. He talks about moving to Maine (which is where much of King's works are based) and the talk about the clown and the balloon is a direct reference to IT.

Jim Schmitz

From all the above, it looks like Oscar's got a hit.

Andrea Dcosta

I love Steve i feel so bad for him he doesnt deserve this at all. I also understand Dustin here he's just a kid after all hes so funny haha but poor Will feel terrible for him.

becca h

loving doing a rewatch with you !

Kru Timmy

One thing that is underappreciated in these first few episodes is just how stir crazy you would get after being trapped inside a small cabin in the woods for a whole year. I've spent time in isolated cabins for just a week and you can't wait to get back to 'civilization.'

Paul

You finally met Bob, my favorite character by far. Such a good dude & a grand example of how to interact with kids & try to be a good father. Of course, his advice is ill-placed, but he can't be expected to know that eldritch horrors are real.

chvrrvism

hopper was reading Anne of Green Gables to El, the same book he was reading to his daughter in the hospital :( its actually a really good book, i highly recommend it. i also recommend the show based on it called Anne with an E, though theres a lot of differences between the books and the show

Fantasy Land

I just became a Patreon member,my first time doing this and mainly because I only use money on things I need due to money issues like Dont have the luxury to spend and I wouldn't feel comfortable spending on things I want but this is the first I did want something in a long time, cus you are my favorite YouTuber reactor your the best and so I wanted to watch full un cut versions of the shows and movies you watched on your channel so I asked my parents and they were ok with it because it was only 10 dirhams and I told them I won't stay a member forever just for a few days to watch all your vids. So glad you reacted to season 2 stranger things, and just saw you reacted to wreck it Ralph the second one few hours ago it's so good and creative.

Fantasy Land

Season 2 is actually my favourite season out of the four seasons of stranger things, I also loved season 4. Max is my favorite character like season 1 was Dustin my favorite then when got to see the new character max she became my favorite but still love Dustin he my second favorite, and I grew to love Steve character more, it's crazy how roles reversed like Lucas liking max and wanting her to be part of the group but Mike doesn't want her probably cus it would feel like replacing eleven but yeah, also Dustin liked her.

Fantasy Land

I was so happy seeing that you already started watching season 2,but I had a feeling you would start sooner since you reacted to the last two episodes of season 1 sooner because you couldn't wait you were excited to watch it cus the show is just that good which i so get.

Fantasy Land

Max is played by Sadie sink and her step brother billy is played by dacre Montgomery ,it's in the in the intro

Fantasy Land

When will opened his locker he saw that someone put the news paper ripped pic of will and the words zombie boy in green was written on it, also the license plate of the car of the new guy and girl said California.

Sofia W

No one have mentioned yet that Dacre (playing Billy) is aussie? C’mon guys 😁

Fantasy Land

The monster is just getting closer and closer to will everytime he back in upside down but only to him he back there but still is in the regular world, the monster wants him needs him as a host ,the monster wants to kill others not will

Fantasy Land

I'm a Muslim and my father is mainly the most religious but me and my siblings were still aloud to trick or treat when we were younger, I'm sorry you couldn't get to experience that

Fantasy Land

At least when will was close with the others around he could be snapped out of it before the monster got him , but now he far from his friends, will shouldn't have been alone

Mantis

Out of the entire story so far, Barbara’s gets me the worst. Her parents spending all their time and money to find her when they never will, her friends who know this, it’s all just awful

Robin C.

For additional enjoyment moving forward, you may want to consider also watching the season trailers ahead of time (or even after), as well as the gag reels. The Comic Con "Thriller" trailer for Season 2 is particularly good! S2 on, each season features an iconic 80s music track in its trailer, thematically relevant, which makes them a lot of fun.

Ellie Autumn Gidney

Fun fact Sadie(Max) lied that she can skateboard and Finn(Mike) taught her how to skateboard while free time when they were filming.

Holly

Waiting for these reactions and then being notified that you posted a new Stranger Things reaction makes my day. <3

Shanae K.

Hey, exciting news. I'm all caught with you Stranger things.

Choux D Bruxelles

I enjoyed the first couple of seasons of this show the best ... For unknowns, the children have done a great job. At some point after you finish this series, I would love to see your reaction to "A Discovery of Witches." This is a great book-to-screen adaptation based on Deborah Harkness's best-selling All Souls Trilogy ( starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer). Escape into a tale of forbidden love and ancient magic, set in a world where witches, vampires, and daemons live among us, hiding in plain sight.

Imnotacop

"And flipping it..... I'm sorry..... Upside down" Made me lol

Marionette

All the sets, the vintage cars, and all the old stuff is making me so nostalgic. I wasn't allowed to wear a halloween costume to school... and I love three musketeers.
