This episode absolutely wrecked me. Incredible finale to one of the best Tv show series I have ever seen. So many unexpected moments happened and tears were most certainly shed. Enjoy :)

This episode is so heartbreaking. I was sobbing watching it for the first time! Can’t wait to watch this with ya! The wait for season 5 is gonna be long but it’s getting closer! Over the 4 seasons my favorite characters are definitely El, Max, Steve, Lucas, Nancy, and Dustin!!

Excalibur

Is it 1am? Yes. Am I tired as fuck? Yup. Am I gonna stay up for 2 more hours watching a finale I’ve already seen just to see Oscar’s reaction? I sure am!! I’m so excited!

Holly

it might be 12 am and i have school at 6 but i have been waiting all WEEK for this, yes im watching it.

Melissa Creel

This episode is so good yet so painful. Poor Eddie. If he would have lived he would have been prosecuted for Chrissy but he had such a gut wrenching death. Dustin is going to carry that with him for a while. And Max.. I'm at a loss for words. This show man😭😭.

LeAnna

One thing about me is that i will cry every time I watch this episode😂🤧😭 Eddie deserved so much better :( and that scene where max is pretty much dying is heartbreaking but Caleb and Sadie were absolutely phenomenal. Love this show and this episode. Thanks Oscar <3

Girls Always

If I see one comment saying that Max should have stayed dead, screw you all. Max is one of the top people who deserves a good ending!

Mariia K 🇺🇦

Dramatic as I love this ❤️‍🔥 No pinky happy ending ( not this freaking Disney) .So about life

Holly

no matter how many times i watch this show, i bawl my eyes out everytime. its now 3am and i have school in 3 hours but man was it worth it to watch this. LOVE ITTTT! thank you oscar!!

Girls Always

Mate, I was sobbing first time I watched this. I still cry every time. Like, when the gates started opening after Max died, I was literally like "What's the point? I don't care". Don't hate me. I love her too much to lose her

Nyx

Think one of the most special things about this episode is that there are a lot of improvised scenes. 1. Hopper and Joyce's kiss at the prison before Hopper goes to lure the Demogorgon. 2. Eddie and Dustin's "I love you, man." "I love you too." before Eddie dies. 3. Lucas's desperate "Erica, help!" as he holds Max.

Paul

Excellent reaction, as always! It almost seems like Max is stuck in Limbo, in a coma but her "soul" isn't in her body? With El going in, but not seeing her anywhere... But now we're all speculating, no one has a clue. By the way, if you plan to watch another show in the meanwhile, I recommended Game of Thrones, and I do think that'd be a great watch, but keep in mind while the writing is phenomenal as is the storytelling, it's a very graphic show with a lot of nudity, language, and gore. It's much darker than what you usually watch, just wanted to add that. For a less visceral but still just as incredible in its writing show, The Expanse Lastly, for some fun movies to watch (not sure if there's somewhere else to send recommendations), Armageddon & Independence Day

Jim Schmitz

😥😭 Right with you, mate. Your raw emotions do your giant heart credit.

Joshua Johnson

Season 5 is coming next year 2025! We are almost there! Season 4 is my favorite but season 1 is just slightly below it! I love how this season connects the entire series together with Vecna playing chess since the beginning and being the main villain of the entire series and I so can’t wait to see their rematch! Season 5 is going to be insane. I love that when Vecna showed Nancy the gates in episode 8 you could see max and Lucas’s blue lights in the attic so he knew he was going to win already.

Sarah Rosa

This reaction did NOT dissappoint!! Thank you so much Oscar!!

Lizzie✨

Let’s give a shout out to Eddie, Dustin, lucas & max’s actors cuz they killed that shit omg they were amazing!!!

Teej

Eddie’s death is the hardest one in the series for me. When he says, “I didn’t run away this time,” I bawl my eyes out. This episode hurts to watch.

Teej

One cool thing I will mention. After this season was filmed and aired, Metallica met up with Joseph Quinn who played Eddie and gifted him with a guitar.

Kelsey

Looking forward to watching this later! I’ve only seen this finale once when it first came out, so I’ve forgotten how some things go down. I remember how hard Eddie’s death hits though.

Shanae K.

I can't wait until I get home to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing this

Melissa Creel

There is video on YouTube of Joseph Quinn actually playing this song. He learned it specifically for this episode. And as someone else said, Metallica invited him to meet them and he got to play guitar with them as well. The video is on YouTube . It's awesome.

Heather Geer

This was such a top tier reaction. Thank you! I swear watching Dustin cry over Eddie’s body is one of the most heartbreaking things ever. The acting in this episode is everyone at their absolute best. So incredible. I love that everyone had a moment to shine.

TurtleTheSeawing

In my eyes, the reason why Eleven was able to sort of revive Max, is because she was still connected with Max. And that was how she was even still there. So it stands to reason, if she was still connected to Max's mind, she could sort of energize Max's brain essentially.

Josh Z

Regarding the revival of max. El doesn't have a crazy power up or anything. She just forces her heart to start beating again. As far as I know, blood continues circulating for a bit of time after you die. I'm honestly quite surprised that so many people fail to connect this particular dot. If she can force a bully to pee (season 1), she can restart her friend's heart.

Neil

I love Stranger Things, it’s 100% one of the best shows currently on Netflix and this season broke me. You should also definitely react to Dark at one point, because that show is a work of genius, my absolute favorite Netflix show (one of my favorite shows in general) and one of the best works of science fiction ever created. Dark, Arcane and Stranger Things are peak Netflix and I will be patently waiting for the last season of Stranger Things.

coco

gosh this reaction saved my whole week! oscar, ive wanted to tell you that, again and again you proof to be one of the best reactors out there! i admire your incredible empathy and your talent to understand the characters and stories onscreen on such a deep level it makes watching them with you a real treat!! so so glad to be a marshmellow!!

Wall-E

Well, I’m an emotional mess right now. Oscar, your reaction was spot. This series has delivered at every turn and now we are all just stoked for season 5.

Marie-Louise

Awesome!! on first watch I really loved this season, the more I saw of it the lower it sank in my rating, but it's still really good. I think "Dark" should be your next watch. It's such a good show; many people compare it to stranger things due to similar vibes in season 1 and the plot from the first episode, but I they are actually very different. Though I suppose if you like stranger things you're also really gonna like Dark and vice versa

Jordan Young

I didn't remember anything about what happened in episode 8 or this episode, so this was a good reminder. Now, you'll have to wait like the rest of us until season 5 comes out. I can't wait to see how they'll wrap up this series, and I can't wait to see your reaction to it. I might watch along with your reaction like I am currently doing with your Arcane reactions. I also want to ask, will you be reacting to any more Hotel Transylvania movies, as you have only done the first two?

sevenprettyboys

Always love your Stranger Things reactions. You feel things fully and you're not afraid to show it and talk about it. Idk if you've watched Anne With An E before, but I think you would absolutely love it! 💛☺️ It's an adaptation/reimagination of Anne of Green Gables and I really love it. It has 3 seasons (deserved at least one more but Netflix cancelled it despite having a hugeee following). The lead is Amybeth McNulty (Vickie 😉). It's a totally different tone than ST but I think that's why it would be perfect in between some fast paced high stakes shows. (POSSIBLE SPOILER And while romance is not the central story, Anne and ******* are THE og academic rivals to friends to lovers 🥹 It is SO well done! 💞) And even apart from the romance, It has a lot of heart, the heart is what makes it what it is, and if you haven't watched it already, I hope you consider watching it 💞🥰 It was such a lovely surprise seeing her here as Robin's crush, because I know her as Anne from AWAE first :')

Fenixnade

I wonder if Enzo's (the restaurant) survived? Hopper has been dreaming about it.

James McCarthy

Woo you are all caught up, fantastic final the villain, the plan, the consequences and the loss. Max and Lucas actors need special praise for the outstanding performances they gave. Cannot wait for the final season but not too long left now.

aleena

31:38 YES LOL taylor swift's "you belong with me" music video

aleena

jokes aside... pineapple on pizza is genuinely really good

Steven Jump

I hope what I fear will happen, doesn't. I think that the only way that they can finally kill Henry/One/Vecna, is if Will dies too. He's still connected to Vecna some how. Sort of how Harry Potter was connected to Voldermort in those movies. I really hope I'm wrong and not only does he survive, he finds a boyfriend. I mean he's the only character that hasn't had a love interest. Also please give him powers besides being able to sense One.

George

Loved your stranger things reactions and can’t wait for season 5! If you were looking for a new show to watch I’d definitely recommend peaky blinders, such a good show that’s really popular here in the uk, I think you’d really enjoy it!

Lunabug2004

One of the best, if not the best, reaction to this show I've seen!! (And it's one of my special interests so I've seen most reactions 😉) It was so refreshing to watch someone who is so perceptive, could figure things out quickly, and be empathetic to all the characters! As someone whose favorite character is Mike, it was especially nice to watch someone who didn't end up disliking him by the end of this season! Now you have to wait for s5 like the rest of us! Filming is supposed to be wrapping in December of this year and then all we know is it'll be out some time next year! Then we'll be saying goodbye to our group of nerds forever 😭! Glad you went on this journey and I hope you continue it with all of us next year!

Ali Wamboldt

For me, this is the best 2.5 hours of television I've ever seen. "It's insane, man" <- right there with you!

Tara ✨💫

I’m just gonna say it… Hopper looked good when Joyce saw him with his shirt off. Do I see the beginning of a six pack? Oscar, Eddie became one of my favorites too and although, I love that he was a hero and didn’t run away, I’m upset that he died. Steve has always been a favorite of mine ever since his redemption at the end of S1 and I will thank the Duffer brothers again for deciding to keep him on instead of disappearing like his douchebag friends. I am afraid because I read somewhere that at least one of the cast is going to die in S5 and that it will probably be Steve because it will be the perfect way to end his character arc.

Amy Lillian

I loved how after this episode aired, Metallica embraced the show, Joseph/Eddie, and the Stranger Things fans with opened arms. They’re truly one of the best rock bands ever 🤘🏼

Josh Z

So if you remember, when Lucas wakes up with his hangover, Jason sympathetically says “yeah it feels like being split in two…” Cut to the final episode, and Jason dies by getting split in half. It's easily the most gruesome death in the series, and the fact that it was foreshadowed so early with just a passing line is wild

Choux D Bruxelles

I've said this before and will say it again: You really need to see "A Discovery of Witches," starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer. It's one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I've seen in years. The show is based on the 'Souls Trilogy book series by Deborah Harkness. It has three short seasons. In my opinion, this show's writing, directing, filming, and acting are some of the best digital has to offer today.

KJ

This season! The emotions are so much closer to the surface than other seasons. Dustin's reaction to Eddie and Lucus with Max.. those kids can act!! This was the most intense season. Like you, 1&4 are my favorites. Did you notice when Vecna told Max it would all be over soon and not to move... That's what Billy said to all the victims in season 3. I loved your true and honest reaction. I was a crying mess at times. What a rollercoaster!! Be well!

TheFrenchieReact

I swear I've seen that season a couple of times already, but I cried with you (again) when Eddie died. I'm never gonna recover from that.

Wall-E

Looking forward to season 5!!
