I thought episode 6 was dark...but that finale. It was super interesting to listen to the game-makers philosophy and why they created the games. I super excited to see how this ties into Season 2! Enjoy :)

Can’t wait for this reaction 😆 Day 9: of suggesting my girl (1991) one of my favorite movies

Yesssss!! 😃 I've been waiting so I could finish rewashing season 1 with you before I start watching season 2 😄

Hey, Aussie. Life has been super insane lately getting ready for the new year. It's been none stop busy for me. I hope you are doing well. Same for all the marshmallows. I hope you guys have a great weekend, and I hope all of you are doing well.

Girls Always

Please react to Big Time Rush! Once you have time to start a new series of course. I think you'll love it!

Michael Short

As much of a scumbag as Sang Woo is, I think it was right to put Sae Byok out of her misery. She was going to die anyway, why let her suffer?

Alicia Cue

i think it’s so neat and twisted that as more and more people die, and they remove the beds that you can see that there are hints on the walls about what the games are.

aleena

i admire your sense of optimism so much man. i like how you put things in perspective about all the good in the world after watching a show literally full of human cruelty.

Jim Schmitz

lovely to have you back again. I'm looking forward to many adventures in '25.

Heather Geer

The thing I never understood about the glass game is what really was the point in shattering everything after everyone was across? Their whole thing about the game is supposed to be “following rules” and being “fair” to the game, but if they hadn’t done that, Sae-Byeok would have not died how she did and could have potentially made it out with Gi-Hun. It feels like they didn’t follow their own rules with it.

Uma Hughes-Collins

excited to see you react to season 2, seems like its getting a lot of negative responses but I personally really enjoyed it! honestly was quite surprised to see all the reactions to it but I guess there are different elements that people like about the show and some of them were more focused on in the second season and some they moved away from

I suggest also watching Alice in Borderland on Netflix! It’s Japanese about also needing to win games and survive.

Jeanette Dawe

I can't wait for next season reaction It is more of a slower burn but still so exciting I still binged it all in one sitting and couldn't look away. A LOT of amazing characters to root for IMO.

I originally saw this series quite a while ago and it is (of course) awesome. The director/producer did not originally plan on a sequal (even though the ending is set up that way). It was more of a stylistic choice to leave it open-ended and have lingering questions about what happened next. I think it was very close to a perfect conclusion, so I do have trepedations about watching the sequel. I hope it does not detract from the original.

You should see Squid Game - the Challenge next before watching Squid Game Season 2.

Statmanjeff

It is a complete genre change (from dark drama to game show) yet carried on the look of the show and maintained the level of emotional impact on its players, put at odds with the human need to form personal connections against trying to stay “alive” in a devastating high stakes, dog-eat-dog game. I’ve read that some viewers hated the difference, but I found it enjoyable, just as riveting — and better than Squid Game parts 2 and 3 (which, for me, was a predictable and not entirely satisfying outcome).

Marionette

The whole spectator and betting just takes it all to another level. I did find it interesting that for the last three, they laid out a western spread, but I guess they needed the knives in there. I don't know if you ever noticed that the tiles on the walls of the dorm room are the games they'd been playing.
