This movie made me so frustrated and so excited at the same time! I liked how the film focused mainly on one monster dinosaur but had a few different subplots scattered throughout. Made for a really intense scenes where I was genuinely terrified! Enjoy :)

Thank you for the reaction! I'm a total scaredy-cat when it comes to Jurassic Park, but I look forward to watching with you! (Prob through my fingers tbh.)

Just got the Patreon notification, so much for going to bed at a reasonable hour 🥱

Emily D Fredriksen

Ooo can’t wait ! Day 104: of suggesting my (girl 1991)

Hannah

Yes!! I’ve been so excited for you to do the Jurassic World trilogy! Can’t wait to watch this with you 🤩

Liam

I really hope we can bring dinosaurs back one day it would be so cool to have a little baby triceratops or t.rex running about the place

Sarah Marion

This is gonna be our future now since we revived the Dire Wolf

Thomas B

If we’re watching the work of Nick Robinson, can I suggest Love Simon?

Sarah Marion

I live in Pennsylvania so we have to do 65 hours of driving before we can get our license… also I’m an hour in and it’s astounding that ginger snap walked through grass and jungle in those WHITE heels

Snc1891

To answer your question about driving alone in the US, at 15 you can get a learners permit by passing a written test. This allows you to drive with someone is 18 or older. At 16 you take another written test and Driving Test with a designated tester from the dmv. If you pass both you can drive on your own.

Maike_Staytiny

Owen's luck in the beginning was that he hid under the crane, the only thing the indominus had a emotional connection to

Kelvin

I want to suggest Shrek

Mikkel Øberg

This movie is entertaining, like actually not bad - also I’ll PayPal you my entire life savings for the next X-men at this point

Erin G

Oh heck yes!!! I have been waiting for you to continue watching these!! I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching the Netflix spin-off series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and the followup Jurassic World: Chaos Theory next; both take place during the Jurassic World movies. While they are animated and aimed for a younger audience, Steven Spielberg has been involved in both and both are so much more mature than anyone ever expected; they're both amazing series, and not the "kiddie version" I expected. Spielberg made sure of that. If I'm being completely honest, many people, myself included, find this series BETTER than the Jurassic World trilogy. Please watch them!!

Ethaya

After this trilogy I suggest you watch Jurassic World: Camp Creteacious and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, pretty please ^.^

Teej

One death in particular is the worst death of the entire franchise and it’s for a character that didn’t deserve it AT ALL!

D2K9

This is my favorite of the World movies. I think I watched it six times when crocheting the Raptor Girls 🤭 my favorite part is that even though all of the players in the final dinosaur battle are genetically modified in some way, the ones that succeeded in that battle are the ones that actually lived once upon a time and the hybrid dinosaur lost. “Man-made” continues to fail what was designed by nature. I just love that. I’m really glad you enjoyed this one so much. I hope you’ll do the other two!! 🦖

Maike_Staytiny

I can't wait for you to watch the others too, they're just so good and if you got some time for some fun but also if you look behind the animations really creepy show for Jurassic World on Netflix, i highly recommend you watching it

Astoria

One of the worst/sadest scenes is how the dinosaur runs to the shore and calls for help as the ship drives away.

Evie

Yay! Been looking forward to this one! I’d also love to see you react to Black Swan 🖤🦢 I just watched it recently and loved it!

Brittney Alvarez

Fun fact since I didn’t see anyone mention it and just in case you didn’t pick up on it when you said the OG lol.. it actually is the OG T-Rex from the first film. She has the scars on her neck from when she fought the raptors at the end of the movie. Hope you continue the series! Excited for the new one coming out this summer

jaynguin

Like others have said, the Trex in this movie is the original Trex from the first one. They even updated her original animatronic to make her look older. She's also affectionately known by the fans as Rexy.

Michael

I do not know if this applies to the actress that plays the babysitter, but some people ask for their side character to die the most brutal death in these type of horror/monster films because it can be fun acting it out.

Jim Schmitz

Entertaining from start to finish, with just enough Pratt wise cracks. Nice to see other MCU alumni, too.

Kasey

I’m glad you enjoyed! Couple fun facts: The babysitter death was Katie McGrath’s (the actress) idea, and she did all of her own stunts for it. Bryce Dallas Howard actually trained to be able to run in the heels at the end of the film. The scientist, Dr. Henry Wu, is the same person from the first Jurassic park movie.

Nate Terry

Others mentioned it already, but Dr. Henry Wu was in the OG movie. He was the geneticist in the hatchery. He asked Malcolm "Are you implying a group of female animals will....breed?" to which Malcolm famously said "Life will find a way." The Indominus Rex was smart, but you mentioned the glass birdcage...it did not know there were flying animals in it. It was trying to escape the helicopter gun. It was coincidence that the bird dinos helped get rid of Masarani. Michael Crichton only wrote 2 book in this series; Jurassic Park and The Lost World. Spielberg directed those two movies, but the rest got made up as they went along. Spielberg wanted to add so much from the books that he could. A famous scene from the 1st book was the TRex popped it's head into a waterfall to try and eat Grant and the kids. Spielberg ended up putting that scene in the 2nd movie but with Dr. Harding and Kelly(Malcolm's daughter). A scene from the 2nd book of Crichton's was a scene with raptors escaping into the jungle rolling a shark cage with another kid in it. to try and save the kid, a main character rode a motorcycle thru the jungle with the raptors to catch up with them....They decided to put a motorcycle/raptor scene in this movie because Spielberg really liked that idea.

Thank you, Oscar! I really enjoyed your reaction. To answer your question about the winged dinosaur with the boxy T-rexesque head. It's a dimorphodon macronyx. I love dinosaurs and am so happy you've decided to watch more of the Jurassic Franchise. I hope that you continue watching this series and agree with the recommendation of several others for you to check out the animated series Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory. They're well written and are chock full of excitement, thrills, heart moving moments, and, most importantly, loads of dinosaurs. Also, if you find yourself wanting to read/listen to the books, I highly recommend. Michael Crichton is a brilliant author with a number of his books having been made into films in addition to the Jurassic Park and Lost World. Sphere and Congo are two of his books turned movies that I would recommend.

Rhetorical Thrill

This is the only one of the World movies I liked, it's a very good example of how to make a late sequel/soft reboot that does enough to justify its existence but doesn't ruin what came before. I especially like how so much of it is a parallel of the first one, down to the owner parroting John Hammond's "spared no expense" BS, without realizing that Hammond did, in fact, spare expense. He cut corners in areas where he had no interest, like safety measures and the computer system. And Masrani not only doesn't understand that, he does the same thing. He doesn't pay any attention to all the places his money goes because he only cares about his pet projects, the fun stuff. He's bewildered when Hoskins points out that Masrani himself authorized the dino-weapon research. He insists on flying the chopper even though someone else could have, because he wanted to be a hero and because it was cool - not understanding that if something happened to him, there would be immediate chaos and a hostile takeover. He wants non-deadly force on the Indominous, because it was a $26 million investment. Never mind that he could easily afford that and it would have avoided the catastrophic human and economic loss that followed. Lessons never really get learned by those who need them most.

pcdeltalink036

The end of this was so good. Really felt like nature fighting back against the fake dinosaur.

Maisie

Oscar, do you have any interest in The Last of Us? It's an amazing combination of thriller, horror, adventure, romance, and pretty much any other genre you could think of. Brilliantly acted.

Fantasy Land

See thermal yes but it doesn't have x-ray vision

Elvira

im surprised you have to drive so many hours to get your license! Where I live there's no specific requirements hour-wise. You could, in theory, go through the obligatory (maybe like 20 hrs or so), nail the test and get your license immediately. :P

Maisie

It would be awesome if there could be some kind of rough upload schedule. Like two movies a week or something. Just so there's some sense of what to expect. Of course if you need days off or whatever that's fine, but the current arrangement is kind of confusing.

Thomas B

Are you planning on finishing Pitch Perfect? The second one is fantastic and the third one is mixed

Katie Niekamp

One of my favorite halloween costumes I've ever seen was right after this movie came out. They dressed as the dude in the Hawaiian shirt running away with his two margaritas.
