I wasn't too sure going into a movie about a singing competition but turns out it was really fun and a couple of the characters stories I really loved! Enjoy :)

I can't wait for you to watch Sing 2, because Bono is in that one. It's such a great expansion to the series and such a fun movie to watch. I'm probably gonna go watch that for myself now that I've watched this with you. My favorite part of Sing was probably just the fact that Nana Noodleman was so PLEASED with the 'rehearsal' show just before the Russian Bears interrupted and 'brought down the house' trying to get Mike's money from Buster. Like, you could just see the genuine JOY on Nana Noodleman's face as the show began. She was about to have the time of her life listening to their rehearsal and she honestly might have bought the theatre and endorsed them sooner if she had gotten to see the rehearsal show.

Not sure if you are interested in music biopic films, but if you want to hear Johnny's voice actor (Taron Egerton) sing more, you can watch Rocketman, in addition to Sing 2.

This was a fun movie for me, more so than I expected when I first watched :) I look forward to the reaction! If you ever want a change of pace with hand-drawn animation, I recommend Wolfwalkers! So underrated and the 2D style is really gorgeous and captivating.

I love that you gave Rosita her flowers 😊 She gets criminally overlooked in this movie by most people. When this came out I had two little ones and a newborn, so not only did I see it A LOT, I felt what she was feeling in my soul. Being a mom is hard, really hard. It's absolutely worth it, and I would never want another life, but it's so much tougher than anyone expects.

As a singer, I really do relate to Meena. I will tell you, even though I perform all of the time and it’s my job, I still get nervous, especially because people in theatre can be extremely judgmental of others. The show I’m currently in, on Friday and Saturday nights after the performance, our music director and the band plays in the lobby/cabaret. Our music director demands us from the cast to get up and sing something. I have been peer-pressured to do this every time, and it’s terrifying. Once I get up there and get into it, I’m okay, until I’m done, and then I want to melt into the floor. It’s an adrenaline rush. Very scary though, especially because it’s pretty much all in the moment and none of it is really rehearsed. You just get up and do it.

It was wonderful to watch. I had so much fun. I love Johny voice. I could listen to his voice all day. Same to the last performer..I forgot her name. I love how she sang hallelujah. It warmed my heart. Every time I watch one of your reaction. I get inspired to write.

If you loved Sing then you have to watch Sing 2, it’s significantly better and has an amazing array of music (especially if you want to hear a very powerful song for Johnny).

Loved this one but I think the second is even better 😁 Also yes Tori Kelly (Mina) is an amazing singer.. Taron Edgerton and Scarlett Johansson were a nice surprise. And of course Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Saunders are always great

I LOVE this movie, it's just great fun all around. I'm not a huge fan of musicals but this movie does it right for me, and Sing 2 is even better. Really hoping you'll give them one a watch as well!

One of my favorite parts is it shows that Rosita is super busy, overwhelmed, and that Norman's not much help. But it also shows us that it's not because he's a lazy or neglectful father, it's because he works from sun up to sun down. (Because he has 25 kids.)
