I actually had a good time watching this one! I thought it was funny though how closely these movies have followed the same plot as the first trilogy. All the cloning stuff and sending the dinosaurs to the mansion was wild! Enjoy :)

Maike_Staytiny

ARRGH, I'll watch as soon as I'm home!!🤩

Shanae K.

This one is good too. It took me forever to have to watch watch. I'm really happy you are enjoying them. Can't wait

Sarah Marion

Hammond knew what he was doing in the books though he just didn’t care about the consequences just the money

Teej

I always forget that Ted Levine who also played Buffalo Bill from The Silence of the Lambs, is also in this movie. One of the most distinctive voices in all of film.

Liam

This film just makes me want a baby velociraptor even more baby blue is so cute and her baby in the next film is even cuter

Teej

Franklin is one of my favorite characters of this movie. 🤣

Mikkel Øberg

Let’s goo, also I’ll never give up on the next X-men reaction 😭

Maike_Staytiny

For you only I'll now keep calling the brachiosaurus a stegosaurus🤣🤣

Mikkel Øberg

Actually even though ill never give up on the next X-Men reaction, you GOTTA watch Dungeons an Dragons, the 2023 one, that one was surprisingly good, youd love it

Sarah Marion

I’m 12 minutes in and miss ginger in heels is pissing me off again. I love dinosaurs too but add them to the world we live in today and animals will go extinct, vegetation will be scarce, she’s basically advocating for the apocalypse

Ethaya

Asking again. Please react to Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory. ^.^

Kasey

I’m so glad you liked it! I know it wasn’t very well received, but I always thought the idea of this one was super cool. I saw somewhere someone said that rather than being a dinosaur movie, this one was like a monster movie featuring dinosaurs and I find that quite fitting. Really love the horror element in this one

jaynguin

Interesting bit, the Brachiosaur that we see vanishing in the ash is confirmed to be the same one Dr Grant sees in the first one. My whole theater was in tears when that scene played.

The first scene on the island was so predictable. Much of the film seems as if it were a series of all parts of the 3 original films. And a lot of it is due to human stupidity. Not to react immediately when several people in the helicopter are swinging their arms wildly and shouting. The signal is lost from a submarine in the enclosure of a water dinosaur, no one suspects anything. Not to mention that the gate didn't close. And that's just the first 5 minutes of the film... Also great, she wants to save the dinosaurs, but locks one of them in a room that is full of lava and in which the dinosaur will die miserably. Double standards at its best.

The film is better than I remember but it still has my major complaints. This is the movie where I felt jurassic park was no longer a dinosaur movie but a monster movie. The two scenes that really stuck with me years later are the brachiosaurus on the docks. And the little girl in bed with the indiraptor. And I don’t like either of those scenes for the reasons above. Personally this is the worst movie in the franchise. Jurassic world dominion I have mixed feelings on. It’s one of the movies that’s so long it feels like 2 movies and I like the second half more than the first.

Yes!! Let's go!! I can't wait to watch this reaction!! I know it's already been brought up, but please please please seriously consider watching the spin off series Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory; both take place before, during and after the Jurassic World movies and answer alot of unanswered questions. Even though it's animated and appears for kids only, that's not the case with these. Imo, both of the series are even better than the JW movies! No joke! I hope you give both a chance; Camp Cretaceous ran for 5 seasons & Chaos Theory just released their 3rd season a month ago, with more on the way. Both are available on Netflix. P.S. Another recommendation: If/When you do decide to watch Camp Cretaceous & Chaos Theory (in that order, btw), I highly recommend re-watching all 3 Jurassic World movies (JW, Fallen Kingdom and Dominion). You will be glad you did; you will see all 3 movies in a different light.

Erin G

Btw, when you do get around to watching Jurassic World: Dominion, imo it would be best to watch the Extended version instead of the theatrical.

So, I don't know if anyone's already answered your question about what he meant that Hammond's dream was to let the dinosaur's live in peace, but in the second movie, that was literally all he wanted. Hammond wanted to send in the team that Ian ended up being a part of in order to STOP people from coming to the second island, Isla Sorna. Because the family of the little girl who got injured stopped there? So Hammond set up the team that Ian's girlfriend Sara was a part of in order to make a complete Biological Fossil record of these cloned animals so that people would leave the island alone. Hammond's... nephew...? Or whatever the guy was who talked to Ian before Hammond did was the one who sent in the big team that was catching all of the dinosaurs. Vince Vaugn's character in the second movie was Hammond's backup plan, because he knew that someone was going to be selfish and send in some assholes to take the dinosaurs again. It was part of why I liked this series so much!! They brought back Henry Wu, who was the main genetecist we met in the first movie during the scene where Alan Grant got to watch the eggs hatch and asked what species the dinosaurs hatching were just before the raptors getting fed the cow scene. I love that they brought back Henry Wu for these movies! It made a real link to the old trilogy, and I had so much fun with Henry's journey through this trilogy.

I recomend Jurassic word: Camp Cretaceous It happens at the same time as the movies, following 6 kids in a camp program for Jurassic Word

"Anywhere with mountains" Well do you want our Eldest mountains? That would be from the Grand Portage, MN area down and around following Lake Superior into the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. That area is around 2 Billion years old. Theyre more hills than anything compared to newer mountains and were formed by the Keweenaw rift, a very ancient volcano that is no longer around, but the iron, basalt, etc are all still seen throughout the area. The Appalachians are around 480 million to 1 billion years old. Highest point is Mount Mitchell (2037m) in NC. Their range also connect to the Scottish Highlands, and Atlas Mountains in North Africa. All 3 are technically the same mountains based on geological dating and features from when Pangea was still a thing. We then have the Rockies. They span from BC, Canada down into New Mexico. The highest point is Mount Elbert in Colorado at 4400m above sea level. Theyre only about 50-80million years old. For reference the Himalayan mountains are a little younger at 40-50 million :D So youve got your choice of ranges lol I suggest going oldest to newest or they wont seem as Amazing according to some people. I still find awe in the Keweenaw regardless how many times ive gone to Appalachia though lol

Geothro

The Rocky Mountains in the US are gorgeous, especially when they're covered in snow imo. Montana, Utah, Colorado. Of those three, Utah has 5 national parks and has the greatest variety in scenery. Jan-Feb if you want to see lots of snow, April if you want to miss winter but still see a little snow on them, or May-Oct if you want to hike them.

KaguriS

i reccomend the movie Dinosaur. One of my favorite movies

Xen

"Anywhere with mountains." You should come to Norway then. Mountains galore. Pro tip though, do it in the summer

00:27:43 if you like dystopia, might I suggest Alita: Battle Angel. it’s a bit clique and cheesy, but the action is excellent and if you like action and sci-fi, you’ll enjoy this one :)

Ventena

I doubt you will see this comment in time now at this point, but PLEASE, when you get to Jurassic World Dominion, watch the extended cut (or at least consider it) because the theatrical cut is just universally bad. and the extended version, while it doesn't transform the movie like the BvS ultimate edition, does make it a bit more forgivable and gives more fun dino scenes and connecting tissue, so to speak.

Maike_Staytiny

Rewatching this for the third time now🙂‍↕️ can't wait for you dominion reaction, now that rebirth was release🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Brian Nix

Yeah, the part where they watch the dinosaurs on the island from the ship is the saddest part of the whole series.
