G'day Marshmallows! Sorry about the super late upload. Just moved and somehow it took 4 days for the internet to be sorted out. Some sad news too with Matthew Perry passing. Honestly still processing that that's even happened. I'm hoping watching a couple episodes of Friends with me will help.

Congrats on the new living and work milestones! That’s amazing and well deserved🙏 Something that stuck out in these episodes is the hilarious facial expressions of Rachel… like when talking to Joey at the table, or listening to her parents bicker…just so good lol. I also loved the Rachel and Chandler moment where you see him put aside his sarcasm for a sec to be there for his friend dealing with something heavy. It was so precious. It’s definitely a more somber and bittersweet time seeing Matthew Perry in these now, but also something that makes you want to cherish his character and jokes even more. He will always be one of the funniest/ most memorable characters I’ve ever watched. Thanks for giving us these rewatches to look forward to.

I think this show does a fantastic job of mixing serious topics in with the comedy and it's something I love about Friends.

Giovanni Ribisi who plays Frank previously appeared in S2E6 "The One With The Baby On The Bus" as a guy who accidentally dropped a condom in Phoebe's guitar case. It's never been confirmed if he was supposed to be the same character and they just didn't remember each other or if he was a completely different character entirely. Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston were actually really close and in his memoir he said she had reached out the most during his darkest times. I feel like that's why they had such great chemistry and Rachel & Chandler's friendship is one of the most underrated friendships in the series in my opinion. Rest in Peace Matthew ❤

Congrats on the positive developments in your life. Your observations about Friends are spot on -- a show that always uplifts us, no matter how we're feeling. Plus, a show that somehow manages to treat serious subjects with humor -- divorce, marriage, relationships, work -- life in general. It's been fun to re-watch my favorite show with you. WOW… first time watching Friends since Matthew passed. Hard to watch, but still so funny and thankful we have 10 seasons of Matthew making us laugh. One thing I remember from the reunion is that Matthew and Matt LaBlanc called each other Matty. So sweet. I also noticed in the comment the remaining Friends released, they also called him Matty. That reunion will take on a whole new meaning when you get to the end so you can watch it. All six of the cast hadn’t all been in a room together since the Friends finale. And thank goodness they did get together for that reunion.

go back and check near the end of s2e6 and see if you spot a first time friends cameo that turned into a long time recurring guest appearance before season 2 ended

Everybody loves episode 22, but I always skip it. I love Monica in this episode tho, I just found the jokes about Flan, one of my favorite deserts a tad disrespectful. I LOVE this show tho ❤️
