Awesome start to Season 3!! I really loved the second episode in particular, just the writing and the way the jokes landed were so much fun. Enjoy :)

Yeah I think the writing is so well done, which is why multiple rewatches later, I can hear some of these jokes and still laugh just as hard lol. You can feel your frustration at everyone in the 2nd episode which I totally get 😂 I usually think Ross gets worked up way too easily about things, but in the case of them all running late being ready for his big night, I completely get why he was so on edge. But I love getting in this the epic moment of Joey in all Chandler’s clothes LOL

I HATE being late and stressed but I often find myself in that position, especially lately. I can definitely relate to Ross to a certain extent. The pettiness in that episode is on another level lol 'Fun' fact: Matt LeBlanc actually dislocated his shoulder during the scene where Joey and Chandler jump for the chair. In 2021, Courteney Cox, Ed Sheeran, Brandi Carlile and Sir Elton John himself did a version of Tiny Dancer/Tony Danza dedicated to Lisa Kudrow. She responded and pointed out that they even got Phoebe's lyrics wrong! No spoilers but you're gonna wanna remember her.

The season 3 episode 2 was so iconic really one of the most comic and successful episodes of the series I think, there is everything in it, laughter, stress, embarrassment between Monica and Richard and Ross and Rachel when Ross yell at her ! All the 10 seasons is perfect really, a fucking good show !! 👌🏻

Fantastic reaction. Episode 2 is one of my all time favorites. The writing -- the ridiculousness of the characters centered around just getting dressed and ready. How it all brings out the best and worst in everybody The Monica thing with the answering machine gets me every time.

Yes, this is a classic Friends episode and is on a lot of Friends favorite episodes lists. It’s amazing that the entire episode takes place at the apartment and takes place over 20 minutes. It would’ve been great if they did the whole thing live like a play. Yes, Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder while filming this episode. The scene where Chandler comes back from getting dressed and they both run for the chair. They did that a few times and the show runners decided to do it one more time and Matt tripped over the coffee table and dislocated his shoulder as he lands in the chair. Of course they had to do the scene one more time. They ended up using one of the other takes for the final edition. They weren’t able to finish filming this episode when that happened since Joey is in almost every scene except when he gets dressed in Chandler’s clothes, so they actually had to wait until his shoulder was healed to film the rest of the episode. They talk about it in the reunion because it’s supposed to be an easy episode that takes place on one set with no guest stars, but it ended up being the longest episode to film because it took a couple months to film from start to finish. I noticed the hummus stain on Phoebe’s dress is different towards the end of the episode.

I'm definitely someone who gets ready early, and I have to admit I get stressed out if someone else is going to make me late. I'd much rather be somewhere 30 minutes early than even 3 minutes late, especially if it's something really important.

My friend dated a few guys in college that I HATED. They were extremely obnoxious to be around AND they did not treat my friend well. My rule is that you're allowed to say something once, if you harp on about it, you risk driving your friend away. The most important thing to me was maintaining our close friendship so I bit my tongue and waited them out. I'm happy to say she's now engaged to a wonderful man that does nothing but lift her up and is pleasant to be around. Sometimes, it's just about tolerating the duds until you get to the happy ending.

Fun fact: 3x2 was conceived because they needed a low budget episode. We actually learned about it in my Sitcom Writing class. Using only one existing set and just the main cast kept the cost way down and balanced out the more expensive episodes in the season...and it became an iconic episode to boot!

I had breakfast for dinner, they were pancakes.
