This is the most unique "Christmas" movie I have ever seen! Using Halloween to tell a heart-felt story surrounding Christmas was just not what I expected from this kind of animated film.

Love, love, love this movie so much...!!! Corpse Bride (2005) & Frankenweenie (2012) also dip into this particular pool of traditional stop-motion animation like TNBC - and are both worth a watch. If you're a fan of this style of animation, the series Community delivered an incredible episode - Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas - in which the entire cast performed their stop-motion incarnations to perfection. (Of course, I can't recommend a sampling of just one or two episodes of this show. Maybe it could be a possibility sometime in the future for the channel. The Friends episodes are being reviewed at such a good pace though so I'm glad you're enjoying that trip thru 90's entertainment.) This is such a perfect start to the holiday season - thank you so much Oscar!

I used to manage a video store and this was the only Christmas movie I would allow to be played on the screens in the store. From halloween to Christmas....every year.

Great video. I would say Disneys a Christmas Carol and the nutcracker and the four realms two of my fave Christmas films. ☺
