The Gellar Cup episode is one of my favourites of all.

Phoebe is the human embodiment of Christmas Spirit lol, I love it. And unfortunately Rachel playing football is way too relatable 😂

As a Dutch girl, I too would have picked Chandler. (No offense to Joey though, Chandler's just my favorite in general) Also, it's so funny to me when they make an American try to say Dutch things. Fake Monica back in S1 was actually pretty good, and Margha here gets close when saying her name but the accent is off.

Oscar, you will see as the show continues that the Thanksgiving episodes are pretty classic. Regarding having the 2 holidays so close, I could be completely wrong, but I believe the first Thanksgiving feast between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans was held after the harvest in November and it lasted for a couple days.

The uncut DVD version of the football episode has a different ending. Monica and Ross decide to toss the Geller Cup down the garbage chute. Phoebe is at the bottom getting it for Monica, but as she's about to leave, Ross walks in to take it for himself. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/IbxnWYDPvHs A little dramatic but fun story is that Susanna Midnight/Voltaire, the actress who plays Margha aka the "dutch woman", was actually American but the crew did not know because she spoke with an accent for the audition. When they found out they were shocked. Also, the girl in the Brown Birds is played by Mae Whitman. She's been in movies such as Independence Day, One Fine Day, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Duff and a TV show called Parenthood. She's also voiced a lot of characters in animations and video games. This episode is from 1996 so she would have been about 8.
