It was so fun seeing a few campy episodes where we get to learn so much more about the characters and their deeper motivations and wants. The Beach episode was particularly good to me. Enjoy :)

I love the transition from Katara seeing her dad after years away and him comforting her to Zuko meeting his father after 3 years and how different the two scenes are.

Aussie Tea lover here. I'm not sure what kind you'll like but if you wanna try the classics I would recommend you go to Coles or Woolies and get the mini Tetley boxes and get as many flavours as you like, there's about 5 tea bags per box and you can get them cheap on sale. They'll have your staples English breakfast, Earl Grey, Green, Peppermint, Camomile, etc and then some fun fruity ones like Lemon and Ginger, Apple Cinnamon, etc. But if you really wanna explore that go to T2. They'll have a million incredible and very unique flavours for you to sample. My personal favourite is Gorgeous Geisha (a strawberry green tea) which is very fitting for this series.

Love the 2nd episode. No matter in what part of the world and what nationality, kids remain kids, want to play and have fun. It's so important for Aang, as the Avatar, to see them not as "little fire monsters". I agree that in 4th episode they should have said more about Sokka's abilities. He's trully the leader of the gang and mastermind, not just a sarcastic guy. So good to see him discover new skills. The Beach episode is definitely in my personal top 5.

they said the painted lady is a river spirit so she couldn't help because the river was too polluted

The beach episode is absolutely incredible. Don't worry your Roku questions will be answered soon!!

I do love how you said, "Sokka looks so small next to him" when speaking about the master. I think allot of people forget these are kids, Zuko is the oldest of them all and he is 16. Aang is 12 and he's the youngest. We all forget how old they are. Even Azula being 14 seems crazy with how calculated and 'mature' she seems. They're just kids and now watching this as an adult I can now see why they struggle so much. They're just kids.

Your perceptiveness is such a gift - I've watched dozens of others react to this show for the first time and I've never seen someone just "get it" as things happen. It's so refreshing. Thanks for sharing your time with us.

Azula's too smart for everyone's good

Yue boosting Aang's waterbending with the Avatar theme couldn't be more epic

KaijinGarou

Yeah you can mock the Fire Nation school bully if you want but he's probably as strong as Toph. Just like her he invented a whole new style of bending: selfbending.

KaijinGarou

Well the Gaang did also mention several times how they didn't know what to do or how to optimize their time as Sokka was in charge of the schedule, the maps, etc. Basically acknowledging that he's the leader and they're lost without him.

KaijinGarou

So how come Toph was complaining about Aang being in trunks exposing his tattoos while in the water and Katara talking about the rocks covering him? Aren't those two lines inverted? 🤣

The next 5 episodes? You're gonna kill us all if it isn't 6, Oscar 🤣. Episodes 10 and 11 are a two-parter and it's vital to watch them together. I can't say more and I know that will be extra effort for you but I can see people dying left and right if you stop the next streak at ep 10, me going first 🤣

"Sokka's Master" is one of my absolute favorite episodes. Sokka and Iroh are my favorite characters, so an episode that features both of them makes my heart happy, plus Master Piandao is just so awesome. Reactions to Yoked Iroh NEVER get old 🤣
