I was not disappointed by how hilariously bad this was. Honestly not as awful as I was expecting but the bar has definitely been lowered now for the Netflix adaptation. Hope you enjoy laughing along with me!! Enjoy :)

FULL REACTION - The Last Airbender (2010)

Enjoy watching along with me the full-length reaction!

Oh gosh, I watched this in the theatre and people walked out. At the end it was just me, my friends and a few others.

I've watched this as a kid and was bored .. nothing special

A right of passage for every ATLA fan! Im debating if I want to find somewhere to watch along with this, or just wait until it gets edited for YouTube.

I can’t believe you’re making me do this (okay, I’m “choosing” to because I’m too impatient to wait for the edited reaction plus it’s something every A:tLA fan needs to do). I was one of the ones to see it in the theatre for the midnight showing. I can gird my loins again. 😛

Kate

OMG, I couldn’t stand it for more than 20min 🫣 sorry, will wait for the YT version 😂

Funny enough for me, this is what introduced me to the ATLA universe. l saw it on netflix and thought why not. For me the movie was just ok and l wondered if there were sequals because of the ending. Then l went on youtube to check and saw a bunch of comments, on how the original is better, so l decided to watch it. l was amazed at how someone could butcher something that hard with such a good source material. Even so l guess l have this movie to thank for introducing me to the ATLA universe.

Your face in the thumbnail says it all 🤣

I'm waiting for the edit, I don't have the strength to rewatch this from start to finish. I'm not like Uvatar Ong 😔

utafoxy

Worse than I remember. Don't mind them changing tge time line to 3 years keeps actors and charectors the same age

abbie

Well the one thing we can thank this movie for is the actress who plays Yue. She voices a great character in Korra!

Matti

I can confirm that this movie is terrible either way you watch it. I knew all the ATLA fans hated it before I ever watched the show, so I figured if I watched the movie first it might not be so bad since I had nothing to compare to. Unfortunately I have eyes and ears, so you know .... I like a lot of the production design and costuming in this, and some of the actors are visibly trying to do some acting (Dev Patel's 3/10 performance is still better than the 1/10s across most of the main cast I mean), but otherwise I can't think of many ways this movie could have been worse? In terms of directing, casting, writing, pacing, cinematography and overall decision-making it's just one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I didn't have the courage to follow with my copy, I just played your reaction alone because I knew all the points that you were talking about either way lol This movie is really bad. Not just a bad adaptation, just a plain bad movie. Everyone felt dead inside, even Aang, sorry Oong, the most happy and wholesome character.

Shannen Den Hartog

You have passed your rite of passage. You are now a full fledged Gaang member haha!! Thank you for reacting to this! Now you can hopefully enjoy the Live Action series and it will get redeemed!!

JoseMTZ

This whole movie was one Ember island players production. Maybe they’ll show this on the live action episode 🤭

I had the unfortunate mishap of seeing this in theatres in 3D and yes, it was as disappointing as you would think

To make yourself feel better after this you should watch Screen Rant's Pitch Meeting for this film, it helps with the rage after watching this thing

D2K9

Can't believe I just sat through that atrocity again lol seeing how you reacted to the og show vs this was such a treat though!!
