Hopefully I speak for a lot of people when I cannot highly recommend enough the album Ants From Up There by Black Country New Road. It's a progressive jazz rock album from a group of British university students, that has some very soft passages and some incredibly loud crushing climaxes. The lyrics are fairly vague but there are recurring themes to grasp on to. It is truly a journey and one of my favorite non-rap albums of the last decade, and even tho it's not normally what you listen to, I think you'd be able to appreciate the art and emotion on display.

If you wanna expand your taste, you have to listen to songs in the key of life by Stevie wonder. I was always just listening to hip hop but sitkol was the first non rap album that I loved

THIS MADE MY WEEK WHEN I SAW THE NOTIFICATION PROLLY THE 2ND BEST ROCK ALBUM EVER!!! lesson 2: Ubiquitous refers to something that is found or present everywhere, often to the point of being seemingly omnipresent or pervasive. It suggests a state of being widespread or prevalent across various contexts or locations. Example: In today's digital age, social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have become ubiquitous, permeating both personal and professional spheres of life, and shaping how people communicate and interact with each other globally. Ok back to album talk this shit is a concept album released in 1973, widely regarded as one of the best of all time and the best prog rock album of all time. It explores various themes such as mental illness, time, conflict, greed, and the human experience in modern society. The album is often interpreted as a metaphorical journey through life, exploring the pressures and challenges that individuals face. The lyrics touch upon universal themes such as the passage of time ("Time"), the struggle with mental health ("Brain Damage"), and the pursuit of material wealth ("Money"). The album's cover art, featuring a prism dispersing light into a spectrum, is itself metaphorical, symbolizing the various facets of the human experience and the spectrum of emotions and challenges encountered in life. The metaphorical nature of the album allows listeners to interpret its themes in personal and diverse ways, making it a timeless and universally resonant piece of art. Its enduring popularity and cultural significance are due in part to its ability to connect with listeners on an emotional and intellectual level, inviting reflection and contemplation. Also just think about the fact that these songs sound like they could have been created today and the albumw was made in the 70s thats how timeless it is.

This genre is 'psychedelic rock', but genres are subjective and just a label. The best music pushes the boundaries of what 'genres' are. Highly recommend you google the meaning of the album and songs, the lyrics seem weird but if you understand the context, you'll realize they're genius and pretty simple. Next time you listen to this album it'll hit different

You have the wall by Pink Floyd! Loved the video!

Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here. I believe it’s technically 4 tracks with the first track split into two. That track is one of their best

“The reason i’m scared of dying is because i haven’t even livied” is such a hard quote out of nowhere😭

It might have not fitted your taste yet because the construction of the songs are very filled to the inch, complex. It is too hard to understand in the first listen, hard to swallow in one go type shi. It took me a lot to get what it's trying to say but once I did I enjoyed it A LOT more because when you get what they are saying you also connect to instruments because they give the feeling and the atmosphere of what they are trying to say with every notes, beat, tempo etc. The album became my favourite album of all time and became a part of my character even once I fully understood it (maybe I still don't do idk but I feel like I mostly do). Anyway the album is about life - death complex and criticism on society if we explain it on a surface level. From what I saw from your other reactions you are a really smart dude and this will probably grow on you. Also one more reason why you probably didn't enjoy it fully is you got really frustrated with not understanding the lyrics and it ruined your vibe a little. But like I've said you will enjoy it once you get it. Have great day. More Pink Floyd reactions would be much appreciated :D
