2024 AOTY for me, straight bangers all the way through. The lyrics and writing make more sense if you know the concept of the album - A girl named Blue (seen on the cover) is trying to undergo a medical process where an Imaginal Disk is inserted into her forehead in order to “download” a perfect personality into herself, but her body rejects it and she instead undergoes a real metamorphosis and learns what being human is really about.

For example, Image is her fake perfect personality talking to her, while Fear, Sex is her body/subconscious telling her to reject it and reunite with her true self.

the beat for Love is Everywhere they produced for Yachty and he used it on Running Out of Time… they ended up both using it

also, if you didn’t realize, Magdalena Bay is the duo of Matt & Mica, they produce everything themselves
