Oasis was a massive British rock band from the ’90s, kind of the face of Britpop. Their sound is really straightforward, but lots of guitars, big choruses, very “everyone sings along in a stadium” type of music. But honestly, they’re just as famous for the drama as for the music. It was basically built around the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, and they were constantly at each other’s throats. Like proper sibling chaos, both on and off stage. That tension basically defined the band, and it eventually blew everything up. Noel walked away in 2009 after one of their usual arguments right before a show, and that was basically the end of Oasis. So yeah, they weren’t just a band. You kind of had the music and a full-time family feud happening at the same time.
