Christopher G

pro era (PE) was the group he came up with when he started, all the features on here were a part of it. this sound was such a breath of fresh air when it came out. RIP STEEZ

JM

We were so spoiled with good music,I forgot how fye this was lol. Its cool to not have heard this in full since high school and now realize all of the influences. Waves, Killuminati, and Daily Routine 🔥 PE = his crew, Pro Era. RIP Capital STEEZ 🕊 Since you're interested in the early 2010s mixtapes, ACID RAP. Also, Control System by Ab-Soul.

Isaiah Muhammad

The fact that they (proera) were so young makin these dope ass songs is crazy af

Steez has the second verse on Survival Tactics, not the first verse. A former member of Joey's Pro Era collective, Steez took his own life at an early age, leaving people heartbroken and asking "what if".

Joey BADA$$- “The only concept that was really behind it was how the people refer to the ‘90s as the golden age of hip-hop. So '99 being the last year of that age, it was basically like a "last hope” type of thing you feel me? It also coincides with the whole Y2K epidemic that was happening during that time so I felt it was perfect synchronization during that time only in 2012."

Also, I'm going to suggest BUBBA - Kaytranada for the next album if you haven't heard that already
