Note for the higher subs

I’ve always felt kinda bad about you guys not getting much in return even though you’re supporting me a lot. So I decided that you guys are gonna get a sneak peak at my next work, I’m not gonna be posting it for a while cause I feel like I made that mistake one too many times and it’s led to the mess I’m currently in. I’m just gonna do it causally and build up the chapters before hand. The ones that you’ll see first. Tbf you guys might not even like it, but I feel like I’ve had a pretty good idea and when I have that I can’t help but write it.

(Btw, this isn’t the sneak peak the sneak peak will be the first chapter. I’m gonna try make them 10k long)

So without further ado my next fic

Light of the Silmarils

2845 of the third age represented a time where Gondor had managed to recover some of its strength from the numerous wars and other hardships that had plagued their land. It is the time of Belecthor II a man who prides himself as one of the last of the blood of Númenor. He has seen Gondor’s decline, he has seen the ruling stewards ever diluting blood and he will have none of it. Gondor will be returned to its former glory… nay, it will be returned to the glory only seen in the second age where the Númenorians were the masters of middle-earth.

However this isn’t a story about Belecthor II whose ambitions are only dwarfed by those of the Dark Lord himself. No this is about his son, the younger brother of Thorondir… Anorthil. While his elder brother is a great warrior a captain of Gondor commanding legions of men to expand their borders. Anorthil is a man who would find himself more at home in the shire than the stone halls of Minas Tirith, for he loves drinking, he loves women and he most certainly likes food. What he hates is fighting or anything active at all.

A disappointment through and through, one his father can no longer bear.

Stripped of his station and gold he is forced to English in the gondorian army as an infantry soldier. By Belecthors decree the south of Gondor is to be expanded. Harad has for far too long been in enemy hands, it belonged with the chosen people. And the place they’d start is with the port city of Umbar.

Plunged into the sea during the siege his armour carries him to the bottom, in the ruins of a long forgotten city swallowed by the ocean he finds it… a jewel glowing with a brilliant light.

During Anorthil’s journeys he’ll find himself in places only spoken of in books and places so dark that it would seem there was an unlight engulfing him.

Anyway some stuff to know about this is that it’ll be different to Tolkien’s work obviously I’m trash but I’m also not a devout Christian. I’ll make romance a bit more loose than how it usually is, that being said I’ll probably leave elves largely the same. Being married once and to the same person is kinda nice. But any other race is fair game. Hehehe yeah boy. Plus there is an elf that’s fate is pretty ambiguous (Lord of the Rings Online doesn’t count) she’ll be a pretty important character once our MC goes to the Dark Lands. Also the way I’m going to be doing this is basically the MC will have a soft version of Escanors powers that he’ll be given by the Silmaril. But that’s what he’ll have. The silmaril will be capable of doing a lot more.

Anyway I hope you guys liked this little intro I did.

In short.

Lord of the Rings Fic.

Tiny harem 1-3

Escanor powers lite

Covering Canon events. the Hobbit, War of the ring.

But yeah this won’t be on here until I’m comfortable with the amount of chapters I’ve done. I just get excited with stuff like this and I have no friends 🗿well apart from Kelsey but she’s a loser who only reads my authors notes and not my actual stories. 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Anyway cya

Daeron Targaryen

He couldn’t touch the Silmaril if he had an ounce of evil or greed in his heart. Beleriand in the north, not the south so there is no reason there would be a sunken city by Umbar. The Silmarils fell into a volcano, Maglor’s the sea, and the final is with Eärendil. Which elf are you speaking of.

Bro I haven’t even written it yet cool it with the critique. Like I said before things are going to be different. It also said that a mortal wouldn’t be able to the Silmarils but if I included that then I wouldn’t have a fic. I know what happened to the Silmarils however there’s no reason why it couldn’t have moved from north to south along the currents. There is no reason why there couldn’t be a sunken city near Umbar. There are a lot of mysteries in Middle Earth. As for the identity of the elf I’ll keep that a secret for now.

Daeron Targaryen

Yes there is because there is no sunken city near Umbar, the closest would be Númenor over 300 miles away I’m not criticising you I’m pointing of you’re doing this make sure the lore is right.

Captainalfie78 Works

Saying there couldn’t be something just because it hasn’t been said is taking the fun out of FanFiction. It’s pretty easy to justify most things, such as the city being moved when Illuvitar reshaped the world. The world going from Flat to Round is bound to have moved things under the surface of the water. Anyway this might not be for you if you’re looking for 100% lore accuracy. I’m more looking to expand on rarely touched on places and people. So things may be different than you’d like.

Daeron Targaryen

I’m not but you’re changing something and it’s not moving any of that more to the point will the Doom of the Noldor and oath of Fëanor come upon him ?

Daeron Targaryen

Okay so he's the son of the Steward and will become the most powerful thing walking Arda is what I'm gathering.

Daeron Targaryen

How would he not that is the power of a Valar ?
