Jared comes back from a nice rest to find Mike playing the role of Ian Miles Cheong, helping him “Catch Up” on all the news that matters.

“No Kings” blew out CPAC in terms of social media engagement, but it’s hard to know why — with poor women expected to have babies, Michael Knowles positioned as a symbol of machismo, and Josh Hammer crying about Tucker Carlson. The hosts then learn about Lindsey Graham’s “princess scepter” before moving on to Byron Noem’s big ol’ balloon boobs. The Noem family dog has seen them — have you? Finally, Jared and Mike take a look at Usha Vance and her totally normal and romantic marriage.

“Posting Through It” returns — and we’re out on these streets, burning a million quid.

Mike's album recommendation: KLF, Chill Out, 1990

Great KLF fact: if you live on a ley line, Bill Drummond will travel to you at his own expense and make you fancy soup

Two things will never get old. Charlie Kirk jokes and Charlie Kirk.

You guys are awesome, great ep

Think Isabel Brown mentioned Knowles, Walsh and Peterson as examples of masculinity because she's employed by the Daily WIre. If I was Shapiro I'd feel personally attacked by my non-mention.

the way Jack Posobiec says "friction" in that CPAC clip reminds me of TC in Magnolia lol

Awesome ep... I laughed so hard when you were talking about the Noam family dog I had to get off my bike... I loved to hear the KLF recommendation one of my all time faves... A few months ago Mike mentioned that he was going to (with some trepidation? ) see Autechre live ... I would be interested to know how it went as I a casual Autechre fan (mainly Tri Repate TBH) have this experience to come in September in Munich any tip on how to prepare? 😁 Anyhow thanks for being to best music recommendation podcast and always remember "Ridicule IS Praxis" keep up the good work.

I saw Autechre in Brooklyn on October 25 in Brooklyn and without hyperbole it permanently rewired my brain. Nothing can prepare you for it lol. -M

Thought so... really looking forward to seeing them now...

Went out of my way to get a physical copy of the recommended album. Probably the most I ever spent on a used CD. Worth it.

As Mick from Mr Cheapo records in Long Island says “enjoy your tunes”

I feel like mentioning the klf making a lot of money without mentioning “the handbook” that they wrote explaining exactly how they did it is an unforced error, but always glad to see them getting spread around
