New Plans for Livestreams + Membership Tiers (Patreon)

Hello Humblechums!

We have a couple of announcements to make about changes to our Membership Tiers, as well as our monthly livestreams—read on!

Livestreams

Right now, we host two livestreams each month:

The Behind-the-Scenes Livestream for all paid patrons

The Design Class + Q&A for Gold/Platinum patrons

We’ve had a huge amount of fun hosting these streams and interacting with the fans who can join us, but we noticed that we're still not seeing a lot of attendees, which dampens the fun of a live stream. It also gives us less feedback and questions to think about while we work on Humblewood 2.

With that in mind, we're planning to make two changes:

We’re considering shifting the times of these streams so more patrons can attend!

We’re going to be making both streams available to both patrons and the public, so more people can join in the fun!

We've included a poll at the bottom of this post that includes the new times we're considering–choose the one that works best for you, or choose "None of these times work for me" if none of them do!

Priority Access to Livestreams 

As a perk, Patreon members will be able to send questions to our stream hosts ahead of the livestream, and we’ll make sure to answer those questions first!

Gold and Platinum Tier Patrons

Since the Design Class + Q&A was meant to be an exclusive reward for Gold and Platinum-tier patrons, we came up with something special to offer those tiers!

Much like mapach tinkerers, we have a lot of ideas for Humblewood 5e magic items, and we'd like to share them with you! In the vein of Magic the Gathering's quirky, rough playtest cards, we'll be creating and releasing raw, first-draft magic items to Gold and Platinum patrons on a weekly basis, complete with rough sketch art drawn by the Hit Point Press team.

Patrons will be able to use these items in their games and let us know if any of them are especially fun or interesting! Each magic item would be sent to patrons as a PDF.

The Humblewood 2 Patreon has been all about bringing fans sneak peeks of what we're working on and getting them involved in our creative process for the next book, and this seemed like a fun way to do that!

We'll announce when we’ll begin distributing these magic items, so stay tuned!

Note: Other paid tiers will receive these magic items 1 month after they're made available to Gold/Platinum patrons.

In addition to these rough magic items, Gold & Platinum Patrons will receive another perk:

Loyalty Status for All Hit Point Press Kickstarters

Gold and Platinum patrons will automatically receive special bonuses for all of our upcoming Kickstarters. For example, the upcoming Scroungecraft Kickstarter will launch a new series of puzzles, and patrons will receive a free jigsaw puzzle when they pledge for one of the campaign's regular puzzles!
