Content

Happy Spooky Season! We've got some spine-chilling and just straight chilling content for you this month!

Playtest

In the playtest, we're exploring the Frozen North. Discover the remote reaches of the Frostcaps where the independent and resourceful Frostfolk make their homes. Then travel over the Bladesea to the Crystal Expanse to learn what Shattered this icy land into the archipelago it is today. Here you'll find the mighty mawlrus and contend with the shambling, heat-hungry frostburned. We're also testing out a new condition: Frostbitten.

The second half of the playtest introduced 5 new spells to delight players and GMs alike! Save your friends with stormslip, take part in the wild celebration of Gebbo's revel, and sniff out your prey with track quarry.

Livestreams

We're still sorting out the details, but alongside our Design stream, we're hoping to bring you some musical delights this month! Stay tuned!

Spiel Essen!

We're headed to Germany for the first time for one of the world's biggest game conventions! Wussten Sie, dass die Humblewood: Kampagnen und Settingbox auf Deutsch verfügbar ist? Yes, the Humblewood Campaign setting is available in German! We're so excited to see our work in translation.

Our team headed to Spiel are exited to make even more links with Europe! If you're going to be there, be sure to stop by Hall 2 Booth 2A410 to say Guten Tag!

D&D Stuff

In the last livestream I asked about whether we'd be getting another Gadgeteer-focused stream at some point, and Jordan and Verity said to request it in the Patreon, so here I am. I know we just had the subclass one recently, but I would love a design class stream or something along those lines about the design of the Gadgeteer itself, or just about building new classes in general, at some point in the future. One of my players is about to start playing a Gadgeteer and we ended up homebrewing a subclass for it because I think we'll need the character before the next playtest doc is out. So I've gotten really in to learning how the Gadgeteer works and would be very interested to hear about the team's design philosophy for the class and how we ended up with the (incredibly cool) version of it we have now, or whatever you guys want to say about it!
