August crashes in like a wave, bringing the crustacean Decapons to Humblewood. You voted for them all the way back in January and now they're finally scuttling in!

Playtest

Along with the Decapon species, we're also sharing one of their underwater homes, Reef Ancile. Take a dive down to this colorful city, but watch out for the bleached Coral Bone Wights!

Necronomicronic V

Drinking a drafty drought has a startling effect on the unprepared. Originally created by a coastal conjurer, Prof. Peccory Skroo, who enjoyed morning swims in the bay near his secluded cottage. The fizzy brew was meant to be a standard potion of water breathing intended to aid the professor in his exploration of the reefs and creatures therein. One of the ingredients (or a synergy of several) he used had a strange side effect that he could never quite nail down. Once imbibed, the brew does indeed grant the drinker water breathing for the duration, but they also become very embarrassingly gassy. This excess gas can be expelled in the standard ways, but it must come out or one becomes painfully bloated and annoyingly (to Peccory) boyant. Perhaps the side effect was ignored as a happy accident when he discovered that it could be used as a means of propulsion when submerged? As, with a bit of practice, the constant bubbling can grant thr drinker a 'swim' speed of 15 feet for the duration, as well. ""
